Lovely setting, beautiful cottage

We had a fantastic time visiting Golden Lake. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5, we explored Algonquin park and the Bonnechere caves and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The host was quick to respond to messages and extremely helpful. We had the best time, thank you!

Cabin stay

Required a place to stay while renovating our residence. Fantastic location. Very peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this property. Matt a very easy and accommodating host.

Beautiful Peaceful Cottage

Matt is great host and owns an amazing property. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Lots of space, great amenities. Has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely come back again.

Wonderful Stay

Very nice location and overall stay was great. Matt was very nice and answered all my questions before and during our stay. The cottage was clean and spacious for the two of us. It was also very nicely ventilated, we felt comfortable and safe. The lake in itself was quiet, and so clear which we loved, and the cottage location was private and peaceful. It would be nice to have access from the back deck to the lake. But it wasn’t a big deal for us to go around the front to go down to the lake. Overall the cottage was a great getaway for us and will gladly recommend this to our friends. Thank you Matt. Marissa and Glenn

Ottawa Valley growth stemmed from the harvest of White Pines 200 years ago. This property features 100 year old hand hewn white pine. You can still see the axe marks in the wood after 100 years.
