2 x double bedroom apartment based in the disirable area of Stirlings old town

Castle Hill Apartment is located in the very heart of the City of Stirling, situated in the Old Town quarter with its wide, quaint cobbled streets, surrounded by many ancient and historical buildings. This first floor apartment offers comfortable, convenient accommodation to explore this historic City. With two good sized double rooms, a light and airy lounge / diner and separate kitchen it provides a great base to explore this lovely area. There is an excellent shopping centre, leisure facilities and a multi screen cinema all within easy walking distance. There are numerous eateries and pubs within the city centre and across the road from Castle Hill Apartment is a 5 star restaurant. This is an exceptional apartment with amazing views and being only 2 minutes away from Stirling castle its a prime spot for a holiday or if your away for work. There is parking available past the castle if you bare right when you reach it. If that does not suite you then you can park on the street for £2.50 for 4 hours and past 5pm it becomes free. Park and ride is also available at the castle view bus stop up by the castle.

About Anne Pollock

I have lived in Stirling for 30 years now and found myself in a position to purchase a 2nd property a couple of years ago, when one became available in Stirlings old town I jumped at the chance as I have always loved this area due to the beautiful scenery and history that bathes it. I spent some time refurbishing the apartment to its former glory and now enjoy letting others experience it.

From this hill top location you have an amazing view out over Stirling and beyond. The Wallace Monument stands proudly and is also well worth a visit. Delve into the history behind William Wallace, Robert the Bruce – King of Scotland and Robert Roy MacGregor. It is only a short drive to the Ochil Hills to enjoy a walk in the countryside or go a little further to the explore the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The Trossachs is an amazing area for outdoor enthusiasts as there are endless miles of forest roads and trails to explore, both walking and cycling. There are many activities for every age and interest including the Blair Drummond Safari Park, the Falkirk Wheel, Knockhill Race Course, numerous golf courses and lochs for fishing or water sports. Stirling has good motorway links to explore further afield – Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Fife can all be easily reached (each less than a hour’s drive away).

Spacious, comfortable and full of character. A great central location.

A great location for the two of us to use as a base but there was plenty of room for four. It was only a short walk from a corner shop, cafe and there were plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. We travelled into Edinburgh twice for the Fringe Festival, once by train and once on the park and ride. There was lots to see and do in and around Stirling. We drove out to see the Falkirk Wheel which was fascinating, the Kelpies and Bannockburn battlefield. We also walked in the Trossachs and visited Loch Lomond. The first morning there was not hot water but the owner came straight out and sorted it for us (and brought us a can opener!) There was plenty of hot water and a great shower and bath. The bed was comfortable and free parking was a short walk away; less than 5 minutes walk. My only grumble was that the fridge was quite small for the two of us let alone four, and was difficult to fit bottles of wine and milk in.

Fantastic!!

The apartment was all we could have wanted and more. Very well equiped and spotless. The location was ideal and right next to Stirling Castle. God grant that I should return to Scotland, I wouldcertainly stay there again. I would also recommend it to other adventure seekers!
