The Mermaid Loft is a beautiful, contemporary, seaside retreat, situated in a period property right on the Strand. It's only a

stones throw from Trebarwith's long sandy beach, and is equally close to the Port William bar & restaurant in its fabulous cliff

top setting. Ideal for sunset watching!

The apartment is located above the Crazy Mermaid gift shop. It has a parking space for one car and a small, enclosed private patio

for relaxing outside or dining alfresco.

Steps lead down to the patio where French doors lead into a light, airy, open planned lounge and kitchen area. This lovely space is

stylish and unique, with a calming atmosphere. The lounge area will sleep two people very comfortably, either in a double sofa bed

or with the addition of a single chair bed. For your entertainment there is a curved screen TV (BT vision and freeview), blu-ray/dvd and video,

along with plenty of films, books and games. The kitchen is designed around a central island and is exceptionally well equipped

with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The double bedroom is very inviting with luxurious bedding, sloping ceilings and views over the Strand.

The shower room is fully tiled and has a modern loo, oak wash basin stand and a large glass walk-in shower enclosure.

Bedding and linen is provided.

House towels (not beach towels) also provided.

Heating is via electric wall heaters.

Phone available for incoming calls and emergency calls.

Free internet access.

Cot and high chair are available.

One well behaved dog is welcome for a charge of £20 per week. But they must not be left alone in the property.

Sorry, no children under 12 unless by special arrangement with booking agent.

An additional breakage/extra cleaning deposit of £100 is required on all bookings, which will be refunded by cheque a week after

departure.

This is not a cancellation insurance. You will be asked to pay this by credit card. You WILL NOT have paid me (the letting agent) anything when you do this. The beach at Trebarwith Strand is a short walk from the property. And there are two pubs within about half a mile - both serving food. There are several good sandy beaches within easy driving distance, Daymer Bay, Polzeath, Bude and Widemouth Bay to name but a few. Boscastle and Port Isaac offer fishing and sailing trips. Excellent golf facilities exist in nearby Camelford, Rock and Launceston. Cycle along the Camel Trail (cycle hire available in Wadebridge and Padstow). Visit the wonderful Eden Project, about 45 minutes by road. There are a host of tourist attractions all within easy reach for days out from Lands End to West Devon, and Bodmin Moor is only five miles away.

Art lovers will enjoy the many local craft centres and the Tate Gallery at St. Ives.

History addicts will run out of time before exploring all the churches and museums.

Literature fans can enjoy finding out about Thomas Hardy’s and Daphne du Maurier’s links with this part of the country.

Or you could just spend all day on the beach!

Cancellations by visitor - we urge guests to take a cancellation insurance policy. Cancellations must be notified in writing (email is acceptable). Payments already made by the guest will only be refunded if the dates can be relet. You are still liable to pay the balance due at the date required even if you cancel beforehand. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20 for each refund made.
