Stunning Spanish Villa With Swimming Pool And Private Garden With Breathtaking

Villa Estrella is a luxurious villa set on 5,253 sq metre plot on the edge of Lake Vinuela taking in breathtaking scenery of the beautiful Axaquia Region of the Costa del Sol. As you enter through the main door entrance the view of the lake is upon you it is a perfect place to holiday with fantastic panoramic views of Lake Vinuela and Mount Maroma. The villa is tastefully furnished and partiality air conditioned. The villa offers a large open plan living space incorporating a luxury lounge with smart TV, surround sound DVD with broadband WIFI internet connection. There is a wood burning fire for use in the winter months. The comfortable indoor dinning /breakfast area has patio doors leading to the veranda, where you might prefer to dine outside.

The villa offers a large terrace with a maintained 8x4 private swimming pool with Roman steps for easy access to the shallow end. Over looking the terrace is a large shaded veranda which is perfect for those who wish to shade from the sun,while over looking the pool and taking in the beautiful vistas when dinning alfresco. For those wishing for peace and quiet there are areas within the landscape garden with abundant of trees and plants. A perfect way to relax, read, paint or just chill out. In the garden near to terrace is an area to Barbecue and entertain with a view while cooking outside with a drink wine, while others watch and soak up the sun on the terrace.The layout of the villa is open plan living areas.

The bedrooms on ground floor are double room and other bedroom has twin single beds (which we can make into another double if required ) with seperate family bathroom. (there are doors to these rooms ) also a separate wc and upstairs.

The master / family room has its own sun roof terrace which is ideal to have morning coffee while taking in the morning sun.

The queen size bed, and single bed are in this bedroom. In this family room there is access to the patio outside over looking the garden with spectacular views.

This family room has the bathroom with walk in shower etc.

All the rooms are tastefully furnished.

This family room has dressing area with patio balcony window overlooking the main entrance of the villa.

The position of the villa is in an area is of outstanding beauty and easy reach to the coast and shopping mall.

The villa is suitable for all year round rental and is particularly good for walkers and hikers in the cooler months as the national park and nature reserve are only 15 minutes drive away. Skiing is a car journey of 2 hours at the Sierra Navada.

If you are a keen cyclist/mountain bike this is the area to explore as there is many routes at different levels you require to enjoy the experience in the sun.

About Chris and Claire Wright

We are from South Wales, Uk and moved to Spain in 2003, to start our family life in the sun ☀

The villa was built for us over looking Lake Vinuela a fantastic position and location.

We enjoyed many years at the villa but as our business to look after private and rental villas we decided in the past 4 years to move into the village and put the villa on short term rental.

A great success as we have had many happy guests who enjoyed the villa and area and many returning each year.

The villa is paramount to us to keep investing inside and out if the villa so the standard is high for all past and future guests to enjoy while on holiday.

Chris & I enjoy meeting people and understand having a holiday in different country can be different as to the Spanish culture. With our guests we introduce them to the area and recommend places to visits and give details to help enjoy there holiday.

Our family home is in the village of Los Romanes in a very old rustic house living with our cocker spaniels.

We both work together as a team as we enjoy interiors and all house maintence for our business.

The position is outstanding (the pictures don't capture all what is on view once you arrive on the drive. Its amazing as we have been told by all who arrives.

The villa is immaculate as we set high standards and want our guests to be happy on first impression. We have set the villa up for guests to have all what they need to enjoy there stay, we like to feel you can relax from day one at the villa with family and friends.

There are many places to see and tasty restaurants to explore in the area or you might just want to stay and eat at the villa and use all the facilities we have to offer.

We have had full experience on running of holiday rental and want our guests to return in the future.

The Axarquia, the area in which the villa lies is east of Malaga with it´s sub tropical temperatures, is known for the best climate in europe the area stretches east of Malaga to the east of Nerja ,the area has been forgotten for many years and is unspoilt and natural ,the mountain scenary is unforgettable with it´s blossoms from January, your still able to see Eagles soaring in the skies, and shepards with there sheep . and from the white villages in the mountains to the beaches on the coast , the Axarquia can offer the holiday maker a fantastic view of the Spanish culture with it´s many fiestas ,and local food and drinks ,our local village of Los Romanos , has it´s own olive oil press, where you can buy direct your olive oil.

Viewing the lake from car on way to villa you will be captured by the jewel of the area.

Once at the villa and entering inside the location will make you feel relax and enjoy a wonderful holiday.

Chris and Claire have many years with clients renting in the area and express that your stay is enjoyable, comfortable for a happy holiday.

There are other graded walks in the area,15-20min Velez Malaga/torre Del Mar (nearest beach,waterpark and large shopping mall).40min Nerja with the Nerja caves and many beaches featuring beachside restaurants/bars and water sports including scuba diving.45 min Malaga with many interests and 90 min to Granada and the Alhambra Palace and skiing/sledging in the winter months.There are 2 excellent 18 hole courses nearby Baveria Torre Del Mar 20 min or Anoreta Rincon De La Victoria 30 min. This villa is amazing. Both location as well as amenities impress. We have now spent the third year in Andalucia our summer vacation and always selected detached houses for a family holiday. Even our sons (18y, 15y) have not regretted their decision to take a holiday together with their parents again. Here you can enjoy absolute peace, breakfast extensively on the covered terrace and look out over the pool across the lake Vinuela (the shimmers depending on the time of day in different colors). A professional gas grill (easy to use) makes lust for grilling, a nice detail is the extra freezer combination on the terrace, which offers quick access to refreshments. But the huge double door freezer in the kitchen (like in American movies known) offers generous space. A car is required in every case, and we have very used. Destinations such as Malaga, Nerja, Competa can be reached within an hour, but we made ??ourselves on the way to Granada, Ronda and Gibraltar, no problem - there is holiday time and it was always worth the trip. Thanks again to the friendly hosts Chris and Claire for this great holiday destination, its nice style and her constant willingness to make their guests as comfortable as possible. A perfect haven away from everything.

Villa Estrella was everything we wanted and more! It had a luxury feel from the minute we walked in with amazing attention to detail with little extras to make your stay even more comfortable.

We had a very warm welcome from Chris and Claire who were very friendly, helpful hosts with a real passion for showing their guests a good time.

The views from the villa were truly incredible and really there was no need to leave the villa for the whole week!

We took golf clubs and enjoyed three courses easily accessible from the villa. Antequerra is approximately an hours drive up into the mountains and well worth it (despite being a tricky course!) for an incredible experience and tremendous views. We also played both Baviera and Anoreta both less than 30 minutes away and easily accessible. Anoreta was the cheapest green fee if you search online for a twilight deal and prebook with Baviera being a little on the expensive side but a lovely club house and well kept course. There are huge amounts of golf courses on the Costa Del Sol which is a little overwelming when trying to chose where to go but this selection were reasonable priced, easily accessed from the villa and provided a good selection of courses to keep us entertained for the week.

The villa was beautifully clean and pool and garden well maintained. Chris and Claire even returned midweek to keep things clean and tidy.

We enjoyed cooking and BBQing in the villa however the five minute drive to El Charcos was a treat that we enjoyed twice within the week. Chris was right and we labelled it the best steak we have ever had! Not to be missed...plus the views up there at the restaurant were incredible.

I would certainly recommend Chris and Claire's villa...the perfect breakaway and venue for a great family holiday.

Fantastic Villa

The villa is as beautiful in real life as on the photos. We had an amazing time in the villa and the kids spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. I cannot speak more highly about this property. This villa is lovely and everything that you need is available to make your stay just perfect. The garden and pool area are beautiful with great views of the lake. We were greeted by Claire the owner who could not do enough for us and was happy to give tips and advice about the area and recommended some great restaurants, (El Charco).It is obvious that a lot of thought and love has gone into this villa, it has a very homely feel and everything was very clean and in excellent condition. Will definitely be returning to Villa Estella and will be recommending it to friends and family.

From the warm welcome we received from Chris and Claire to the beautiful villa and outstanding views of Lake Vinuela nothing disappoints! The villa is equipped with everything that you could wish for and the gardens are a delight - lots of seating to enjoy the spectacular views all around the villa and some lovely relaxing spots around the pool. We really enjoyed dining al fresco but equally pleased to be able to eat indoors when the evenings turned a little chilly! The location is very tranquil and peaceful but it's not too far from Velez Malaga and the coast if you fancy a change of scenery. Would recommend a hire car! We spent some great evenings up in the village of Los Romanes, enjoying music at the local bar and delicious steaks at El Charco. Chris and Claire are able to recommend lots of things to do and services - they really have thought of everything! Thank you both - can't wait to come back

Absolutely stunning holiday Villa. Views were wonderful, beds comfy, TV had everything we could wish for and the Villa was comfy, extremely well equipped and stylish too. Even had fly screens on some of the doors / windows so Mozzies couldn't get in to annoy.

Too cold to use the pool, but it looked really inviting and was always clean.

Really tranquil location, and the road (off the main road) wasn't too bad either, unlike some we have negotiated.

Chris and Claire are lovely too. Very kind and accommodating in every way.

Not only can I fully recommend their beautiful Villa, but will be returning again myself.

La Vinuela ( nearest supermarket and bank -ATM) village 5 min by car puente don manuel, 10 min drive (hosts a small selection of bars,restaurants,butchers and 2 English shops),5 min Los Romanes (excellent restaurant with views)15 min Alcaucin (small bank -atm)Alcaucin is the best area for walkers,joggers and nature lovers it provides access to the Tejeda National park below the great mountain of La Maroma, with tracks winding through pine woods, mountains valleys with outstanding scenery. There are other graded walks in the area,15-20min. Velez Malaga a typical Spanish busy town where lots of fruit growers tend there harvest to export, and has history to explore. the joining town of Torre Del Mar (nearest beach,water park and large shopping mall) has a wide promenade which runs alongside and will take you to the fishing port and marina of caleta, this is approx 3 kil walk. There are many small beaches along the way to the famous town of Nerja 20 mins from Torre Del Mar, this is a very pretty town with narrow streets to explore and stroll or sit at the Balcon De Europe and watch the world go by. The beach at Buriana to enjoy the sun, with the Nerja caves a MUST to see and many beaches featuring beach side restaurants/bars and water sports including scuba diving.

Also in the summer season all the local villages/towns have there own fiesta/celebrations for all to enjoy. They run nearly every weekend from Friday to sunday and entertain with music, dance, foam party, and drink and be happy.

There are also the Romeria's where the people of the area come riding there horses and dress in the Spanish way, with many following by foot with carts they dress to carry the free food and drink, a splendid way of joining the village celebrations.

Many more celebrations go on through out the year in local areas as they celebrate the olive oil, vegtables and fruit a custom for many years. This is where the Spanish families all come together. In August is a very big feria in Malaga where thousands come to join the celebrations, and at Christmas time a beautiful display of lights and nativity.

There are many other celebrations through out the year.
