Ground floor apartment in traditional Alpine style with stunning views of mountains and own patio and lawned garden. Sleeps up to 5 (double bed, double sofa bed and single sofa bed). Situated in a very peaceful location on the edge of the medieval village of Giez. Activities on site include tennis, 2 swimming pools, children's play area, table tennis and adjacent golf course. TV and DVD player.
France has been our favourite holiday destination for many years. It offers such a variety of activities from beach holidays to rural escapes and winter skiing. We initially considered moving to France as we love the way of life but family commitments meant this was not practicable. So instead we chose to buy a holiday property for our own use and to let to others. We continue to enjoy holidays in our apartment at various times of year and never cease to be impressed by the beautiful surrounding scenery. Each time we visit we find new things to do and new places to explore. The apartment is a real home from home, warm and comfortable with everything that one needs for a relaxing holiday.

We love the location of our apartment because there are things to do all year round. In Winter it is in easy reach of a variety of ski resorts. What's more, there's plenty to do on non-skiing days as the small complex has its own indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, a tennis court, petanque and a games room with table tennis, pool table and table football facilities. There is also play equipment on site for families with young children.
We bought 'off plan' which was fortunate as we were able to choose which apartment we wanted and we stood on the site armed with a compass to determine the perfect aspect - sun, privacy and stunning mountain views! We know that our apartment is unique on the complex and we believe it enjoys the best location!
This particular apartment is unique within the Le Birdie complex for the following reasons: the owners arranged with the architect, at the time of construction, to alter the original design so that there is a wider living area, a separate shower compartment as well as a standard-sized bath and shower and an additional door from the WC leading into the bathroom. Furthermore, this is the only apartment to have a garden with all day sun, benefiting from a greater degree of privacy than most of the other ground floor apartments and with outstanding mountain views.
Great little apartment with all the essentials. The website photos meant we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. We loved the swimming pools, indoor and out meant our girls could swim whatever the weather. The only minor annoyance was the wi-fi was an extra charge and was only available in the pool/reception areas. Lots to explore in the area but we had fantastic August weather so enjoyed lounging around the pool and exploring the village. It was a comfort to have plenty of English speaking support should we have needed it. We all had a brilliant holiday.
Lovely compact apartment ideal for a couple. All your kitchen etc basics provided and local shops easiily accessible. Beautiful surroundings and lots of strenuous and not so strenuous activities in the local area. Further afield Mont Blanc is an (expensive ) must. Village is very quiet and peaceful. Complex pool is good and some activities arranged in the week. Thank you for a well organised stay.
we are cyclists and found this pretty much ideal for our needs, very clean and in an area full of scenery and interest, thanks Andy and Lesley.
This is a lovely little apartment on the edge of a small residential complex, in a hidden valley, close to Lake Annecy. It is on the edge of a beautiful village with fantastic scenery and walks.
There are 2 small towns within walking distance and the lake is 5 minutes drive away (or an easy bike ride). Although this area is more renowned for it's proximity to ski resorts, it is a fantastic place to visit in the summer with plenty to do and see.
The apartment was very clean and provided everything we needed. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) TV and DVD player.

This is the second time we have stayed in the apartment with our two girls. Both times we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We found it to be clean and very comfortable.We enjoyed breakfasts out in the garden under the sun umbrella enjoying the superb views.We enjoyed all the facilities the pool and tennis courts/ games room.
There is so much to do around and about. Montmin to watch the para gliders/ yellow boarding on Lake Annecy, bike riding on the cycle trail and markets galore.Late evening walks around the village of Giez was peaceful too.
Such a great place to stay and Andy and Lesley the owners (who we met last year) have been very easy to communicate with.
Would thoroughly recommend this little gem to anyone.
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment, it was very clean and tidy and lovely to have a patio area outside. The bed was comfortable and the water was piping hot. There are lots of walks from the apartment and we watched the cows going up and down the road each day! Its a very tranquil spot away from the road but easy accessible to Faverges the nearest town where we hired bikes for the day. There are some good restaurants around which we enjoyed. Would definitely go back again!

Minimum stay is 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday. We offer a 10% discount on a second consecutive week. We may be flexible on the start/finish day and length of stay at off-peak times.
Reservation deposit of 25% of the rental is required to secure booking. Remainder due 6 weeks before arrival together with refundable 200€ security deposit.
