[3] Not long returned from this wonderful place. My children had a great time. The restaurants by the beach were very good, and local towns have some interesting shops. We all feel really relaxed and only wish we could have stayed longer. It really was super to get them off their play-stations!Recommended for: Age 55+/Adventure Seekers/Tourists/Sightseeing/Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children/ Romantic Getaway.Claire Sullivan.

[4] We had a fab time at the chateau and found it perfect in every way. Quiet, peaceful, full of history and character, and totally safe for the children, who loved every minute of our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. We all send you both our best wishes, and wish you the best of luck over the future of the Chateau.{copy and paste with permission of Ian Mather}.

[5] After being on the market in St Lo we went 'home'.To candle lit evening eating and drinking on your terrace. Our Swedish friends (now living in Seattle) meant this afternoon was the best that summer.Angles [Norway]

About Juli

I have left part of the Gardens wild for the flora, fauna and little wild creatures and birds to habit

I have seen red squirrels, swifts that swoop down across the lake to catch the insects.A little shrew running in the field,a beautiful little creature with a tiny elephant type nose. There are two kingfishers now, they whizz by in the flash of an eye.

A safe comfortable environment. If we haven't got it,

JUST ASK and we will do our best to oblige.

Lots of fun in the sun

  • 5 of 5

we got to the house and we were greeted with a lovely, happy welcome from the owners of the property, we were then shown to our rooms, they were huge! The beds were lovely and we had our own en suites, we felt like royalty! we then went to the beach, which is also in close driving distance from the house (20-30 minutes) we went to Agon sand dunes where we had so much fun we stayed there until dark, and we came back to an absolutely delicious evening meal. we then went to bed, and I have to say I slept like a log! In the morning the sun was shining again, as it was for the entire week we were there, and my husband decided to go fishing in the massive carp lake, while he did this I sat and read in the summerhouse which is also on the lake, and then later I walked through the beautiful back garden, the time flew by, and before we knew it the sun was going down, and we watched the beautiful sunset against the beautiful, picturesque house, it was a beautiful experience, and we'll see you next year! :)
