It has been renovated in September 2012 and decorated with style and providing all the modern conveniences. The apartment is on the first floor of a respectfully modernized old building dating back several centuries. There is a bedroom with en suite bathroom and living-room/dining/kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen retains the charm of the apartment and ensures you are able to enjoy preparing the wonderful fresh local produce available at the twice-weekly markets. You will immediately feel at home in this apartment which doesn't get too hot in summer and is cosy in winter.

In a small street off one of the squares in the old town, you are a minute or two from everything the town has to offer - 300 famous antiques, over 60 restaurants and cafés, shops, waterways and waterwheels, beautiful old church and old town architecture.

A cosy apartment in a charming town

We absolutely loved staying at Le Petit Cézanne for so many reasons; a warm welcome from the hosts, a cute apartment with everything you possibly can need while on vacation, a great location in this fabulous town! A very clean, comfortable, updated and charming home away from home! This great little apartment is 1 minute walk from all the restaurants, stores and the Sorgue. We absolutely loved our stay!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at Le Petit Cezanne. The apartment was very well appointed and was convenient to restaurants, bakeries etc. Isle sur la sorgue was our home base for the week and it was easy to access the Luberon valley, Avignon, Saint Remy and Cotes du Rhone...parking was never an issue at the end of the day. The only complaint we have is that the bed was extremely hard (but that is personal preference). Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The flat was well organized and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Marie left us a lovely bottle of wine and some snacks. Nice touch.

An unforgettable stay

We visited Provence last week using Isle sur la Sorgue as our base. The location is ideal for visiting the villages of the Luberon Valley, Cote De Rhone, Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Orange.......

The apartment was impeccably clean and had all the amenities that made for a great stay. It was quiet, bright and peaceful. Claire was thoughtful to leave a bottle of water, wine and tapenade for us on our arrival. The markets on Sunday and Thursday were delectable and it was a pleasure to browse through the produce. We walked to the Convert Bakery several times during our stay- the breads, pastries and cookies were outstanding and the shop keeper kind and generous!!

I would highly recommend this apartment and location if planning on a visit to Provence.

Awesome Apartment

Claire was wonderful to work with. She met us on arrival and provided us with information on the unit and town. There was a lovely bottle of wine, tapanade and toasts waiting for us. The apartment was spotless, well appointed and perfect for a couple. We were a 2 minute walk to a bustling square and shops. The unit faces a school yard that is busy and noisy during school hours. Personally we enjoyed the sounds of the children playing. The town is central and it's an easy drive to surrounding hill towns. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Perfect

This was a perfect experience. Claire welcomed us and showed us all the features of her sweet apartment, which was smartly furnished with modern appliances. Lots of towels, coffee, cooking utensils, and a welcome bottle of wine. She even has a welcome book of advice and resources. The apartment was perfect for us as a couple. Some others have commented about the school across the street. We actually enjoyed hearing the young children playing in the school yard as they gathered in the morning. I would give this six stars if I could.

Oh yes, the town is an ideal place to wander the streets of the old parts or head out to the nearby hill towns.

L'isle Sur La Sorgue is famous for it's antique shops and markets and for it's delightful waterways and mossy waterwheels. The old town is charming with little shaded streets and open squares to explore. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday for a few days, a week or as long as you can spare.

The town is medium size which ensures it is lively all year round; the old town being small enough though that you can become quite familiar with it and walk to everything you need. This home is away from the hustle and bustle but just around the corner!

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is known as having the largest number of antique and brocante dealers outside of Paris and you can spend many hours browsing their wares and eating in the restaurants you will find amongst them.

It has a selection of galleries showing very high quality artworks, many little stores to browse and too many good cafes, restaurants, wine bars and ice cream shops to sample in one holiday!

The Thursday and Sunday produce markets offer a delightful selection of everything fresh - the hardest part is not buying so much that you don't need to eat out.
