In a quiet mews behind Holland Park station, a beautiful apartment

A ground floor two bedroom apartment, with en-suite bathroom and one shower room/cloakroom. Spacious bright open-plan living area, with all the machines. The location of this property makes the apartment quite unique- you are literally moments from the tube station and some of the best shops and yet the apartment is peaceful and quiet. In a very upmarket area of London, with numerous cafes, bars and pubs just around the corner - it is a 5 minute walk to Portobello Road and Notting Hill Gate. This apartment has just been completely redesigned and decorated, with quality appliances and furniture and fittings, nothing but the best. Clean and fresh decor, light wooden flooring, carpeted master bedroom, top quality bedlinen. Looking out to some of the most expensive real estate in London, and greenery. You will be utterly amazed at how close you are to everything LONDON has to offer. Wireless Internet included.

Perfect Location, Perfect Flat

First and foremost, Yvonne was the most wonderful host. She was so accommodating and helpful.

Second, the location is perfect. One block to the tube, several bus lines, and easy taxi flagging. The neighborhood has great pub, restaurant, and grocery options (Tesco, M&S, Waitrose).

Third, the flat was so bright, comfortable, and spacious. It really became a home-away-from-home during our stay. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to London!

Definitely Look at This Flat for Your London Visit

The other reviewers were spot on and we were so glad we chose Yvonne's flat in Holland Park. Bright, clean, cheery, comfortable, and well-equipped for light cooking when you want to stay in for the evening. We were particularly concerned about our mother's comfort as she uses a wheel chair. The flat worked great. You would not be able to get a wheel chair into the bathrooms, but our mother was able to take the few steps needed holding on to things. Yvonne was great. She went out of her way to make sure our mother would be comfortable and could use the bathroom fully. She was quick to respond to emails and voice mails when we had questions. You simply cannot beat the location of this flat. For able-bodied guests, you have the tube station literally steps away. There are also several bus lines within easy walking distance. It was a short bus ride to pretty much all of the main sites. We used the buses to go all over London as they are all equipped to handle wheel chair users. Very cool and convenient and saved tons of money on taxis. Wish it was that easy in the States. Walking to lots of things is also an option from this location. We took advantage of many of the suggested walking tours of London that were part of the site seeing guides provided in the flat. Seeing London again was very high on our mother's wish list. We were blessed to find this flat to make that happen. Ten days seemed too short. We all would love to return for another visit soon. Thanks Yvonne!!!

Exactly as advertised in a great location.

Very comfortable flat on the first floor of a purpose built block. The exterior of the building is not attractive, but the flat itself is well done and quite comfortable. Located one block off of Holland Park Road and about 2 minutes from the tube station, this flat is in the middle of some very expensive real estate. A quiet, neighborhood feel close to shops and a number of very good restaurants.

Also close to Holland Park and a short walk to Kensington High Street, Notting Hill Gate, and Portobello Road. Avoid the congestion of London proper and take advantage of the excellent public transit. Plus, since the flat is in far West London, it only takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Heathrow.

Amazing Location!!!

We spent a week in London in August and loved this Holland Park gem. I can't say enough about the beautiful and convenient location. We were steps away from the Holland Park tube station which was always clean and uncrowded. There is a bike rental kiosk right outside the apartment gate. We were less than a block away from groceries, a Starbucks, multiple bakeries, restaurants, a deli, a great book shop and only a short walk from beautiful Holland Park. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and well-equipped with stand-outs like a big coffee maker, a nice washing machine and an efficient dryer (very appreciated, could have packed much lighter). The unit and area were quiet, but only a few minutes walk from the more lively Notting Hill area. The owner was kind, communicative and shared some great tips with us. We love so many neighborhoods in London, but will never stay anywhere but Holland Park again. We'll be back.

Apartment could not have been better located!

My husband and Loved the flat it was so spacious and comfortable! It was a perfect location. No matter what we wanted to do the subway was close and convenient and we would always arrive to our location without any glitches.

I would absolutely rent this flat again and I would recommend it to anyone who would want to listen to me!!!!

Well located and immaculately appointed apartment

Ignoring the outside appearance, this ground floor apartment is very well located in Notting Hill. Despite the Holland Park tube station being closed for maintenance when we were there, we were still able to get around very easily, with frequent buses on the main street only a block away, and only a short walk to Notting Hill or Shepherds Bush stations on the Central line. Lots of shops nearby made it easy to get groceries to prepare meals in the well appointed kitchen. And with the huge Westfield shopping centre literally just down the street, there was no shortage of other shopping etiher. Our host was very friendly and greeted us in person and showed us around her apartment. The apartment itself, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a full chef's kitchen and spacious lounge, made it very easy to have a day in during our week-long stay. Everything was provided, right down to washing powder. Furnishings are immaculate and very well styled, fresh and coordinated throughout. Also close to several excellent English pubs all within 2 or 3 minutes walk! Will definitely stay again.

Holland Park with a restaruant and cafe, it also has a popular Adventure Playground for children, Barnes Wetland Centre for birdwatching and nature walk, Legoland at Windsor, Cycling around the City on a 'Boris bike', Golf at Chiswick, Ice skating in Queensway, Rollerblading in Kensington Gdns/Hyde Park. Horse Riding in 'Rotten Row' Hyde Park from stables in Bayswater, Tennis in all the London Parks, The British Library at Euston, All the London Museums and tourist attractions.. wonderful cafe scene and numerous pubs, good restaraunts - all within walking distance, also Portobello Rd. market at Notting Hill Gate. The 'Oxford Tube', a frequent coach service which runs all day and night - the coach stop is just around the corner, takes you to the university city of Oxford for £20 return.
