You enter the private grounds via an electric security gate and park in 2 allocated spaces in front of the residence. Enter the building by the original porched doorway into the spacious entrance hall, leading to the fully refurbished grand stairway with beautiful red carpet. The apartment is on the first floor. Entering the front door, you go via a lobby into the main open plan living room containing:
Lounge: with leather two and three seater sofas. There is a 42 inch LCD TV with free-sat and digital channels. A DVD player can also play CDs. The original fireplace surround has been preserved together with the high ceiling, giving this area a very comfortable and relaxing feel.
Dining: within the large bay window area, making this a very special place to eat and linger during that after dinner period. A great time to soak up the magnificent views from this high vantage point and watch the sun go down over the near by mountains.
Kitchen: this newly fitted luxury kitchen has everything you need including large range cooker with ceramic hob, separate fridge and freezer, dish washer and a washer dryer. It also has an island containing the washing up area and a small breakfast bar. There is certainly no need to be left out of the conversation in this kitchen, as you will feel part of the overall living experience.
Down the wide hall you arrive at the spacious second bedroom. It has a magnificent 5ft fully refurbished brass and cast iron bed. You will wake up in the morning fully refreshed to a beautiful view of the Gwydyr forest. The fixtures and fittings have been carefully chosen to compliment the living standards.
A little further down the hall brings you to the master bedroom. This is of considerable size and accommodates the special super king size 6ft bed with ease. The luxury continues with the furniture, all in fine solid wood. You also have the benefit of a comfortable accent chair. Your views over the the Gwydyr forest come via a pair of windows, giving this room a lovely airy feel.
The bathroom is just off the hall and contains a P shaped bath with a Mira shower over, wash basin and WC. The fittings are again of top quality.
You will also be impressed with the quality of the lighting throughout, as it includes many recessed down lighters, special fittings over the breakfast bar and dining table and lighting over the mirrors in the bedrooms.
The property also has the benefit of newly installed central heating to make this an all year round destination.

"An attractive apartment located in a grand Edwardian house in the village of Trefriw. Well presented grounds and two parking spaces allocated, all behind security gates.
The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen is well thought out and the kitchen is well equiped with quality units and appliances plus ample crockery and kitchenware. Two double bedrooms have well presented beds and bedding and quality carpets.
The shared bathroom is also presented to a high standard with fully tiled walls and floor, modern fixtures/fittings and sanitary ware.
Housekeeping standards throughout are pristine.
Overall a very comfortable and well maintained modern property."
Beautiful, spotless apartment with a very peaceful location in a pretty village. Stuart and Janet, the owners, were very friendly and helpful on arrival and keep the apartment in tip-top condition. Would absolutely book again when in the area!
Recently stayed here with friends for 2 nights on a 'chill out and relaxing weekend'. First impressions of the place were very impressive and was pleased to say the property actually exceeded my expectations and was even better than the pictures show it to be.
From the moment you step into the apartment it felt very warm and inviting particularly as the temperature outside was unseasonably cold and Staurt had ensured the heating was on.
It became very clear when looking round the apartment that all fixtures and fittings are of the top quality and no expense has been spared. The apartment has lovely high ceilings making it feel very spacious and airy and we particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the dining area where the views were fantastic.
The setting is wonderful and the village is very quaint with a number of pubs but we used the Old Ship for eating and drinking and found it to be a very welcoming atmosphere with a lovely open fire.
Me and my husband have very high standards and usually find something that i'm not happy with, but in this instance I have to say I couldn't fault it! would definitely return in the future.
Super cozy, clean apartment with great views and within reach of a myriad of great activities. We went caving during the day, and relaxed in the eve. The apartment felt as good as home, and had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable and happy. Only downside was we only stayed for two nights. Already planning our return - thank you Stuart!
This apartment was beautiful and very spacious with breathtaking views. It looks even better than the pictures. Stuart and Janet kept amazing contact throughout and were extremely helpful with information on the surrounding area. Would highly recommend!
A lovely property in a lovely location
Fantastic apartment that exceeded our expectations.
There's a wow factor when you enter the building as it has such a lovely hall with a large stained glass window. This continues into the apartment with large, clean, well appointed rooms and a lovely view from the living room.
Stuart and Janet were welcoming from the start giving good tips and recommendations.
We had a 6 and 4 year old with us so the
large and beautifully kept playground next door was a godsend.
Can recommend a walk around Llyn Crafnan, boat trip in Beaumaris, a beer at the Ship and dinner at Betws bistro.
These were just some of the things we did during our wonderful weekend in and around Trefiw.
The village of Trefiw is only 4 miles from the very popular village of Betws y Coed in Snowdonia. The property is just a few minutes walk from the village High Street, shops, restaurants, pubs and woollen mill. There are a variety of different walks from the village: mountain walks to the lakes, woodland walks to waterfalls and walks by the riverside. This eastern region of the Snowdonia National Park is very easy to get to and is central to both the mountains and Snowdon (12 miles), the North Wales coast and Llandudno (20mins) and the peaceful Conwy river valley and Bodnant Garden. There is a sandy beach with a refurbished Victorian pier, a small 'Welsh Mountain' Zoo at Colwyn Bay, Llandudno has much of interest, Victorian pier and tram, Great Orme and shops. The castle and harbour town of Conwy (20 mins) is where the Snowdonia mountains meet the sea. Good pony trekking available from Conwy.
