Tranquility and Mountain Views amidst Orchards on the Edge of Town

Casita Dori and Los Limones are two picturesque conjoint cottages, rented together, with all mod cons - two for the price of one! The property has the ideal location: only a short, 400 m walk from the edge of the town of Orgiva along a tarmacked road, yet with rural ambiance. Surrounded by a large landscaped garden and neighbour’s orchards, with its secure parking inside the walled property, Casita Dori provides peace and privacy.

Casita Dori provides perfect holiday accommodation for a family with older children, or for perhaps a group of friends. The two cottages are always rented together, with the exclusive use of the pool for you and your party, and even if you only wish to use one of the cottages, the other cottage will remain empty and at your disposal during your stay.

The cottages sleep 6 in 3 double bedrooms. There are 2 bathrooms, one in each cottage, with Internet in both.

Provided: a flat-screen 37” TV (English, German, Polish), WiFi Internet, CD, DVD. Dishwasher.

The house is built in the traditional style, with some stone walls a metre thick, and at the back set into the hill. This provides excellent insulation, making it cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. Even so, fans and heaters are provided.

Beautiful property in a fantastic place

This is a lovely property on the outskirts of Orgiva. Very quiet and peaceful and just a short walk into town. The gardens are beautiful and full of orange trees and it was so nice just sitting in the sun having a glass of wine relaxing after hard days cycling. The owner was very efficient and provided excellent instructions for us and Carmen the local manager was lovely and very helpful.

We will definitely be back again!

Lovely villa and pool, great for October sunshine!

Well equipped and comfortable villa with attractive fruit filled garden and a beautiful pool, we were swimming every day at the end of October! Carmen, the local manager looks after the villa very well, and is friendly and helpful.

The secluded location is only a few hundred yards from the edge of town and the closest bar - drinks with tapas for two for less than 5 euros! Several small supermarkets and plenty of restaurants and cafes in the town, with friendly welcoming people. Good local walking, and interesting places to visit within an easy drive - we went to the Alhambra Palace in Granada, and up the mountain roads to the "white villages" - the Thursday morning market made it a good day to stay in Orgiva.

A piece of paradise in rural Andalucia!

I have had a lovely time at Casita Dori with my friends. The house is very private and not overlooked, surrounded by gardens but just of the edge of town. Casita Dori is just few minutes’ walk from the centre of Orgiva, and in the opposite direction, in no time at all you can also have a wonderful evening stroll up the hill where you have a very good view of the whole town and also of Sierra Nevada mountains.

The cottages are cozy and well equipped with attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed the big terrace overlooking the pool with the panoramic view of the Lujar Mountain.

When I enjoyed my solitary walks, my friends preferred to just laze by the pool in the garden full of fruit. We all swam every day even though it was the end of October.

If you need anything, Carmen who looks after the house is very helpful.

A lovely place to stay. Great location, quiet, lovely gardens and brilliant pool! Houses are lovely. A little basic, but in a 'rural Spanish sense', so there is everything that you need. I would return again and again. Easy walk into Orgiva. Fab! x

Magical situation

We travelled as a couple and 15 year old son. Fantastic villa, the pictures don't do it enough justice. The villas have the charming old Spanish style but with all the amenities needed. Wifi even able to be picked up at the pool and garden areas. Large bedroom area in Dorita. Our son loved his independent villa, hardly saw him! Pool deep so would not suit very young children. Gardens were delightful, beautifully laid out with grapefruit and oranges for breakfast and lemons for gin! Very peaceful, only the sounds of the birds, chickens, donkey and the odd dogs. Short walk to the town with a short steep hill just before the villa. Orgiva may not be the prettiest but enough shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Flexible Accommodation in a Wonderful Paradise

We had previously stayed in one of Anda Tolkan’s properties (Casa Rosada – another wonderful holiday option within walking distance of Orgiva), so we knew that we would be well looked after. Every aspect of the booking, payment and planning arrangements was made so clear and straightforward by Anda, including clear directions to Orgiva.

Anda’s local manager Carman met us promptly when we arrived in Orgiva and escorted us right to Casitas Dori and Los Limones. Carmen and her husband are available via a phonecall throughout the holiday if you have any issues and always respond quickly and efficiently.

No matter how great you think the property looks from the photos, I promise you it is even better when you get there. The separate garden areas are connected by a number of flower covered walkways and everywhere you look there is a new and interesting feature. There is plenty of room for large groups to be together but also quiet spots if you want to escape from the crowd.

We visited this time with our 16 year old son who stayed in the smaller of the properties. This is actually connected to the larger property and feels really secure and safe. It was great for him as he felt independent (especially with the Internet access in both properties !).With separate toilets and showers etc, we almost felt we were holidaying alone, but knowing our son was safe and with us.

Both properties have all the facilities you need to make your holiday run smoothly, including UK based TV channels (if you really need to keep track of the soap operas !), but we spent every evening either in Orgiva or outside on one of the many terraces.

Orgiva is an easy 5 minute walk down a safe and secure road that rarely has any cars on it, so there is no need to use your car unless you’re venturing further afield. There are plenty of well stocked Supermarkets in Orgiva and enough bars and restaurants to give you a range of options no matter how long you stay.

This really does offer everything you could want from a holiday property; modern amenities, exotic and useable gardens and pool, peace and tranquillity and a picture postcard town within easy walking distance. You won’t regret making a booking here.
