Including the Leadbetter Academy, it is the largest golf complex in Spain. Stunning mountain scenery, breathtaking tee shots and manicured greens ensure every round is an unforgettable experience!
GREAT GOLF DEALS: La Cala give some great deals ranging from ‘play all week’ from just 223 Euros to playing a round on each of their 3 championship courses from just 174 Euros – prices vary depending on which months you play.
3 COURSES: The par 71 CAMPO EUROPA course opened in 2005 - fairways are generous and greens slightly larger, not severely contoured but well bunkered and easier for the average golfer. CAMPO AMERICA is a par 72 with five par 5s. Hilly topography requires ‘carry’ across steep brush-covered side slopes but wide and more joined fairways make this slightly easier for driving. There are fewer fairway bunkers but water hazards on the 9th and 16th. CAMPO ASIA is spectacular and exciting with challenging holes guaranteeing a testing round of golf putting a premium on the approach shot. Water guards both greens at the 3rd and the 14th and tests golf course strategy. The 18th must not be over-clubbed off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could wreck your scorecard!
COSTA DEL SOL AREA: 320 days a year of sunshine means the Costa del Sol is the perfect all year round coast to visit with the certainty of hot summers and mild winters. The area around La Cala Resort has everything you could want to make your holiday varied and interesting. The town of Marbella presents both the old and new faces of the Costa del Sol and is just a 20 minute drive along the coast road beside which there are more fine beaches, restaurants, bars and great shopping. El Casco Antigo, Marbella's charming Old Town, is a warren of whitewashed streets with authentic tapas bars and is a vibrant place to visit day or night. And don’t miss Marbella’s famous Orange Square!
Further afield you can easily reach the historic mountain towns of Rhonda and Granada or take a bit longer and go to Sevilla or Gibraltar or even across the Mediterranean to Tangiers. The quaint seaside fishing town of Nerja along the coast is another ‘must see’ as are Andalucia’s nearby scenic mountains.

Excellent apartment in great location
The apartment was great. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms over two floors just as explained by Martin. We had a few queries which Martin was quick to reply to. Nikki was there to meet and greet us and explain all that was needed. The apartment was extremely quiet and well located especially if you like golf! The pool was lovely - clean with superb gardens surrounding.
Stunning apartment and views. Nice and quiet
Lovely modern and spacious duplex apartment. Spectacular views across golf course to mountains from the terrace. Some really nice touches with provisions provided that mean you are ready to enjoy your stay straight off. Very clean with comfortable bedding. A bit remote but that means it is really relaxing and peaceful. Nice pool area with ample beds and no one else there when we stayed. Only 10 minutes drive down to Cala de Mijas town with shops and restaurants. Would stay again. Owner really helpful and keen to get things right. Thank you :-)
Exellent apartment for our needs
We visited - 4 golfmen - La Cala Golf area one week. Property was large, modern and practical for our needs. Even in the kitchen was the real and right coffeemaker! The view from bacony was lovely, peaceful and relaxing. Also the place for our very big car was sufficient large. Martin and Nikki served us very well and attentively. We played all 3 golfcoursies several times. Exiting and variable. We recommend!
Another great holiday here
This is our second holiday in this apartment. I was so impressed last year I had to return. It has stunning views. Beautiful, quiet and serene. Lush green grass which is always well maintained. Everything is always spotless. Nikki is the contact person there and was as helpful as ever. It is so reassuring to know someone capable and helpful is just a phone call away. Tea, coffee and milk are all provided plus towels and other essentials. I cannot recommend this more highly. Just far enough away from the busyness of tourist crowds, but close enough to enjoy all that the Costa Del Sol has to offer. Great time for everyone.
Myself and my three friends were on a painting and golfing holiday we could not have picked a better apartment or location the views over the hills were stunning 20mins.drive takes you to the beach and restaurants.
The whole package was handled very efficiently for us by the owner.
Quality Accommodation in a Stunning Location
This holiday was booked as a family holiday to celebrate a special birthday and we were definitely not disappointed. The booking process and communication pre holiday was first class as was our reception at the property. The property was fully equipped and there was sufficient supplies of items such as tea, coffee and milk to start us off. The property was exactly as displayed in photographs , if anything even better in reality. Having booked apartments in the past we were able to agree that this was the best we had stayed in. The grounds were well laid out and impeccably maintained. All ground staff were very friendly and helpful, one even helping us to remove a frog from the swimming pool that had ventured from a nearby pond. The pool was lovely and despite the time of year we were able to make full use of it. The property was quiet and obviously well managed. we had the benefit of a good signal with Wi Fi which kept our younger members happy. The location completely suited us and the views from the balcony were stunning. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quality apartment in a picturesque location and we hope to return again in the future. Many thanks to the Uk contact, Martin and to Nikki the local representative. One tip when driving to the main coast road is to turn right at the first roundabout after leaving the property and follow the road downhill. This route is quicker and less twisty than following the road past the La Cala Resort Hotel.

This apartment is just 25 minutes from Malaga airport via the AP 7 motorway. Either take a taxi from outside Arrivals, hire a self-drive car or we can arrange a chauffeur service to whisk you to the apartment. Airlines to Malaga include easyJet, Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Monarch, British Airways, Iberia depending on your departure airport. Full directions are sent with all bookings.

The rental includes 'meet and greet' on arrival, free Wi Fi, all utilities including electricity, bedding, linen, apartment towels + pool / beach towels and normal cleaning after departure.
25% of the rent is paid when you book. 75% of the rent and the security deposit are paid 6 weeks before your holiday. Rents quoted are for funds received. For lets up to 6 nights, the first 3 nights are at the weekend rate and the remainder at the weekday rate.
Check-in is 4pm onwards or can be earlier and as soon as cleaned if there were departing guests the previous night.
Check-out is by 11am or later if the apartment is not occupied the following night.
