Fantastic apartments in the perfect spot!

Modern apartment located in the same luxury condo by the seafront outside Lisbon to Cascais and the apartments has stunning sea view from all rooms.

The 195 m2 apartment has four bedrooms (8 beds), very large living room/kitchen in open solution and with a veranda towards the sea . Two toilets and the apartment and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Please note that the calendar is always updated!

The sandy beach is just outside the house, and if you do not want to swim in the sea, there is a pool and a garden belonging to the apartment. The apartment has a car place in the garage and apartment complex is guarded / front desk 24/7.

If you do not want use the car, the train station is at 5 min walking distance and it takes 20 minutes to go to the Centre of Lisbon or 10 minutes to Cascais centre.

Around the apartment there are a number of cafés and restaurants and 5 minutes walking distance is cozy Parede Centre with shops and market for fish, fruit and vegetables, etc. every day.

The apartment complex also has an external fully equipped gym, with 5-10 classes per day, for example, yoga and spinning. The gym also has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Available for special rates for guests.

We have also a T2 in the same condo for up to 6 guests.

During middle and low season you have up to 50% discount, especially for smaller group. Please do the price simulation to see your price.

Price for final towels and linens is separated from the rent due to the option of requesting or canceling this service.

During high season, June-Aug, the changing day is always Saturday or Sunday. For longer stay (10 days or more), the starting date or ending date should be on a Saturday or Sunday.

Payment by bank transfer has a discount of 5% of the rent.

About Jonas & Flavia

We are a Swedish Brazilian married couple. Jonas work for Oerlikon Balzer Sandvik as CFO and Flavia is a teacher but also work as an actress. We spend our time mostly in Sweden but also in Portugal.

Why Jonas & Flavia chose Costa do Estoril - Cascais area

We cannot think of a better place, in Europe. The apartments are fabulous and you are close to everything. It’s a quite noble area and not very touristic. On the cafes, restaurants and small stores around they quickly gets to recognize you and takes good care of you. You have the gym, pool and beach on you doorstep and if you want to go to the center of Lisbon or Cascais, you take the train, less than 20 min to Lisbon and 10 minutes to Cascais center. Close to the house you have plenty of restaurants and cafes and the prices are much less than on the touristic areas. Then of course, for us that like to keep moving, you have the beach of carcavelos to walk or run but best of all is the gym club and spa in the same building, its so great.

Lovely apartment in Parede

Firstly, the response rate between Jonas and myself during the booking process and everything leading up to our holiday arrival was very good. Our flight was late but there was no waiting around for keys as the apartment complex had a 24/7 security guard so very easy. We joined the gym next door for the discounted rate of €20 for the week and enjoyed the classes and facilities. Following our departure, Jonas returned the security deposit promptly.

The apartment itself was just lovely. We did have a few issues with towels in the bathroom but nothing major. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the apartment was plenty big enough for four friends. I booked the apartment wanting four bedrooms as we all wanted a room each but on arrival, the smaller room had been turned into bunkbeds which we were unaware of so couldn’t use. As a result, two of us had to share a twin room but that wasn’t the end of the world. What was slightly unusual was that the beds (including the double beds) only had single duvets. The apartment itself is quite lovely and the views are just amazing. The balcony, although a little small, was great to use and overlooked the sea and pool. The lounge area had two large French doors so these were always open allowing for beautiful views of the sea.

As for Parede itself, it was a quiet resort. There were a couple of nice restaurants along the beach and also a lovely small square with some nice restaurants. Supermarkets were within walking distance - a small supermarket and fabulous bakery practically opposite and a much larger one about a 10 minute walk. For those seeking a slightly livelier evening, I would recommend Cascais. Taxi was only 10 minutes and you could also get there by train if you wanted. The train station was about a 5 minute walk and very easy to get either to Cascais, Estoril or the other way into Lisbon. We spent a day in Lisbon which we thoroughly enjoyed as it’s a beautiful city.

We stayed in May 2017 so didn't need any air conditioning. The pool area was lovely but we couldn't use it as much as we would have liked due to it being windy on occasion.

Overall a very nicely presented apartment in a lovely small town.

Lovely quiet family apartment

This is a stylish, quiet apartment, easily big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage children to have plenty of space, with fantastic views of the sea and pool from the two well furnished balconies. The wi-fi was great. The kitchen was very well equipped, though we didn't use it for anything other than toast for breakfast (the restaurants in nearby Cascais have plenty to offer and we found them relatively cheap) The pool area has umbrellas, sunloungers and deckchairs, and was very quiet despite it being August school holidays - no noisy music or hoardes of people fighting over sunloungers here! Most days we drove along to Carcavelos beach - 4 sunloungers and 2 umbrellas = 20 euro but strangely you can only put 4 hours at a time on the parking meter, so you need to go back and top that up. The kids had a great time in the huge waves. Beach is clean and well patrolled by Lifeguards. Parede is ideally placed to easily reach Cascais and Lisbon by road or train -which is way cheaper than the UK so we used it frequently. I would say a car is desirable for this apartment -it would be a trail for small children in the heat if you relied on walking everywhere all the time -but it isn't essential if you are up for walks to the beach and train station. (Plus navigating the apartments' underground car park is an adventure in itself - we seemed to find a different way to our spot every day !) The only drawback was the lack of air-con in the bedrooms (there was only a fan in the 2nd bedroom) but if you leave the doors open, the road outside seems noisy at night, so a fan or air-con in the master bedroom wouldn't go amiss. Didn't spoil our stay though. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a smart stay, away from a noisy 'resort' type accommodation, but close to everything you would want from a relaxing yet varied holiday in the sun.

Fantastic apartment well located and equipped

We had a lovely stay in Parade and it was a great base to explore Lisbon and Cascais.

The apartment is spacious has fabulous sea views and is just like the photos with excellent WiFi.

The gym downstairs was €20 for the week a price Jonas has negotiated. The staff were really friendly so we all stayed fit for the week.

The taxi service again recommended by Jonas were helpful and reliable.

We bought a week beach pass for the train €12 for 7 days unlimited travel on the Cascais to Lisbon line. It is available from May to September.

Finally Jonas was so helpful and responsive to my many questions. I was uncertain about using home away but my experience was very positive and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Great modern appartment with lovely view

We were very happy With this modern and spacious appartment. Beeing 8 people, we were a bit worried that it might be crowded, but the livingroom and open kitchen/breakfast-area were wide and spacious, leaving enough room for everybody. Pool and beach and jogging - all great! Parede is a nice and quiet little village located on the beach-train-route from Lisbon to Cascais. (We really recommend this train and the one-week beach-pass.) Would love to come back!

All you need

We did really enjoy flat and it did make hour holiday extra relaxing. Flat was really spacious with nice scandinavian feel and did have all adementies and more. Owner has printed out useful booklets from flat, Parede and Lisbon those were really useful while planning activities during our stay.

Parede itself was charming with good connections to Cascais and Lisbon.

We would really recommend relaxing holiday Parede.

Beautifully spacious, modern and tranquil apartmen

We really enjoyed Jonas' & Flavia's lovely apartment. We loved it's modern, spacious feel. Everybody was very friendly and helpful, from Jonas himself, to the reception staff, we even joined the gym next door - they couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome! - The children loved the outdoor pool, but also loved the indoor pool at the gym. We LOVED the coffee and cakes at Bijou in Parede. And we often enjoyed a lovely evening walk to Capricciosa along Carcavelos Beach for dinner. All of Jonas' recommendations were good; we used his taxi driver, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly - his English was amazing. As a previous reviewer has said, Parede has a lovely feel to it, not touristy, but extremely friendly to the hapless holiday-maker - perfect!! I would definitely recommend this apartment. We were just a family of 4, but there's comfortable space for 2 families. Thank you!

§ 1 The holiday home is let during stated period for stated price. The first payment of 20% of the total rent will need to be transferred to with booking of the apartment. The second payment of 20% will need to be transferred 2 month before date of arrival. The remaining fee plus deposit will need to be transferred 1 month before date of arrival.

§ 2 The tenant must be careful and take good care of the holiday home. The tenant cannot make any changes without previous approval from landlord.

§ 3 The tenant is responsible for damage caused by tenants. If damage occurs, the tenant must contact the landlord immediately. If the tenent find anything damaged upon arrival this has to be reported immediately

§ 4 The tenant may not put the holiday home at someone else’s disposal.

§ 5 The maximum people staying should be confirmed by the landlord when doing the booking request. Any additional people staying needs approval in written by landlord.

§ 6 It is the landlord responsibility to insure the holiday home and furnishings.

$ 7 The holiday home must be left clean and tidy.

$ 8 Linens and towels, if contracted, you will find these in the reception. When leaving, or if change of linens are requested, the linens and towels must be counted and left in the bags from the laundry before 11:00 at the reception. New linens and towels if change is being requested can be collected at the reception after 16:00.

$ 9 The deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the end of the contract to the tenant.

$ 10 The check-in is normally 16:00 or later and Check-out is at latest 11:00 if not previously agreed otherwise.

$ 11 If the tenant cancels the rental agreement the paid rental amount will be refunded with 80% until 60 days prior arrival.
