A typical day here involves waking up when the sun tells you to—or when you’re ready for the day—and eating a leisurely breakfast on the water-side deck. Sip coffee and enjoy the waves lapping against the shoreline and keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife. This place really feels like a vacation! Watch the bay come alive with paddlers, sailboats, and sea planes in the distant Sechelt harbour. Kids and adults alike enjoy exploring the tidal flats out front.

You’ll quickly see that the bay is full of wildlife. Watch the sea birds, seals, salmon and soaring eagles from the waterfront deck. The sandy beach is just a single step beyond the front lawn, and is easy to walk on. A short beach stroll will take you into Porpoise Bay Provincial Park and the nearby bird estuary.

Enjoy quiet evenings barbequing on the deck with friends and family and watch the sun go down. You’ll see the twinkling lights of Sechelt shimmer across the water as darkness sets in. Wind down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and make sure to check out the stars!

This rancher-style home is right on the water's edge. It’s spacious, comfortable, family-friendly and readily accessible for elderly people (there is just a single step to the front door and a walk-in shower with a built-in seating area). There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, and a large garage for storage. The Living Room sectional pulls out into a queen bed for extra guests. The Kitchen is fully equipped for preparing family meals, and the large Dining Room is perfect for groups. All furnishings and beds are high-end and comfortable, making the Beach House a perfect getaway at any time of year.

Note: The price includes up to 6 people. There is an extra charge per person after 6 people.

Family weekend

This house is in a quiet and small neighbourhood of Sechelt. Neighbours are close but discreet. South facing. Quick drive to shops. Well appointed kitchen. Nice deck. All areas outside and inside were very clean. We would go back!

Weekend with Family

This place is a 10. Clean, comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. We enjoyed the setting,.. serene and peaceful with an amazing view of the bay from the deck. The beach is truly just a few steps away! A very short walk to Porpoise Bay park, and 45 min drive will take you to Katherine Lake where the water is great for swimming. We also visited a Farmer's Market which we enjoyed as well. Really enjoyed and loved our stay. Mike and Lisa are great hosts, easy to connect with and accommodating. Will definitely book again.

Perfect stay!

The house was really great! Very smooth instructions for the check in and house rules. We were very comfortable and loved every minute of our stay; super cozy back yard with beach access and minutes from Porpoise Bay National Park. We really appreciated having the toddler mattress for our little one! Thank you!

Located next to Porpoise Bay Park. The park is a 5-minute stroll down a trail at the end of the street (or a short walk down the beach). Beautiful salmon stream, bird estuary, swimming beach, kids playground and more. This large park is very popular and has a provincial campsite that is fully booked during the summer.

Enjoy the Beach House view of Porpoise Bay and it's ever changing scenery and abundant wildlife. Today we saw killer whales jumping out of the water while chasing schools of herring!
