Spacious, central and just lovely!

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time staying at Lauriston Gardens. It's a beautiful area, with a lot going on around it, and the proximity to the Meadows is great. But everything is close, really, and you can easily walk everywhere.

The flat was fully equipped and we loved cooking in the huge kitchen, especially when we had friends around.

It was tidy and clean when we arrived and Kate greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us information about local amenities.

We are keen to go back and would recommend to everyone who's planning a stay in Edinburgh.

Simply a perfect place to stay.

My family of 8 ( husband, parents and children)

We stayed for 5 days in this place, we highly recommend it to all of our friends and family - right in the heart of Edinbourgh, walking distance to the famous Edinbourgh Castel, parks and city center.

The appartment holds everything you need, it is very nice and clean, the beds are good, bedlinen and towels new and luxurious.

Friendly neighbourhood, no noice at night time.

Excellent accomodation and great location

We were a group of four (older) couples. The accommodation was first rate and big enough for all of us - inevitably some bedrooms were bigger than others. The location was excellent for the Festival - most venues in the Old Town being easily walkable - often pleasantly through the Meadows. To be honest there was only one drawback, which is probably shared by most older properties in the Old Town, namely only one WC - a bit of a stretch for eight oldies - one bathroom separate from the WC with a great walk-in shower and an additional shower with the WC. Kate was a great landlady, the property was clean and well prepared, with some welcome basics in the fridge (bottle of wine included!). We would certainly consider using it again and recommend it to others (with the caveat mentioned).

Beautiful appartment in a great location.

Would recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone planning to spend time in Edinburgh. It is not only stylishly decorated and furnished, but is also bright, airy and extremely spacious. The location is ideal as it is on a quiet street adjacent to the Meadows but is only a short walk from the city centre. There are lots of lovely shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area and many more a short walk across the Meadows in Marchmont. The owner, Kate, was friendly and helpful throughout the process and was keen to make sure we had all the information we needed to plan our stay.

A 10 minute stroll across the Meadows takes you to delightful designer boutiques and coffee shops in the Bruntsfield and Morningside area.
