The apartment is located on the 1rst floor and from the porch it is a stunning view out to the Caribbean Sea.
The size of the apartments is approx. 85 m2 with one or two bedrooms, one bathroom, and livingroom
two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room combined with a kitchen. There is common access to the 2 bedrooms. When you look at the photos you will find the signs for the 4
apartments and how they look inside - he same with the video.
The bedrooms have queensize beds. The apartments have wifi, cable TV, air condition in all rooms, a well equipped kitchen and swimming pool. From the garden it is direct access to the beach.
From the porch it is a stunning view out to the Caribbean and the
breathtaking sunsets. In the garden among the tropical plants and flowers you can watch hummingbirds and other colourful birds, and you can walk out the gate from the garden and do snorkelling on the beach to look at colourful fishes. Between March and July the giant
leatherback turtles are coming up on this beach to lie their eggs -
normally in late evening or night when it is dark. On this time of the year the organisation SOS ( Save our seaturtles ) are patrolling the beach to make sure that nobody are interfering with the turtles.
The seaturtles are harmless and can weigh up to 1.100 pounds.
It is an amazing experience to watch these giants coming up in the moonshine, dig and lie their eggs, and then disappear in the dark glittering sea.
All our guests will be met at the airport and transported down to the apartments, and we will make sure that the fridge is filled with food and drinks by arrival intended for the first day support.
The housekeeper Theadora comes twice a week
for cleaning and changing bedsheets and towels.
After almost 23 years on Tobago, we have established an unique network that will benefit our guests.
My wife and I are born and live in Norway in a little town called Skien - the same place as we grew up and went to school.
We are now both retired and spend lots of time in our house in Tobago.
Stein and Edel Foss purchased this apartment in 2005
My wife and I went to Tobago for the first time in 1993. We fell in love with the beautiful island and the people there, and continued our travelling to Tobago every year. In 2005 we were lucky to get the opportunity to purchase a piece of land almost on the beach by the Caribbean Sea. The same year we build our house on the premises. By now we have travelled back and forth to Tobago for 20 years. The name ' Pride of Courland ' was
taken from the old wooden house that were on the premises before we built our new house.
The place is unique and has a breathtaking view out to the Caribbean Sea and the sunsets you can enjoy from the porch.
The coconut trees overhanging the beach together with a wide variety of colourful birds, a lush garden with tropical plants and flowers combined with the sound from the sea.

Our overall impression of Pride of Courland is that it couldn´t be better. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to stay so Close to the beach. The property, the owners and the staff are all very welcoming!
Exquisite property on pristine (long walk and swim) beach. Owners and staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a wonderful time!
The Foss' are very polite hosts. Their driver picked us up at the airport and was very friendly. The housekeeper went way out of her way to help us identify places to go. The pool is lovely and the sound of the waves heavenly.
If you are looking for a beach, then there are two spectacular choices, one to the left and one to the right, within a short stroll. If you want more, or want to explore what else the island offers you really need a car or to use taxis, as public transport can be a bit hit or miss. The property was as advertised except the laundry machines are no longer available for use, although a laundry service was offered. The apartment was ideal for us as a couple, but be aware that the second bedroom is accessed through the master bedroom so the property may not be suitable for two couples. Local shops are within walking distance and offer the basic supplies. You need to travel further if a greater range is sought. There are numerous fruit stalls along the main road that offer fresh fruit and vegetables. For restaurants you need to travel further. We used the apartment as a base for exploring the island and would find places to eat on our travels. The rain forest, Little Tobago, the Adventure Park and the boardwalk at Petit Trou were for us some of the highlights. Driving is not for the faint-hearted, just take your time. Theodora and the team keep the apartments clean and the garden tidy.
To Mr and Mrs Foss,
We had an absolutely wonderful 2 weeks stay at "Pride of Coreland"! The "Royal Tern" and "Blue Bird" apartments were perfect for us. They were spacious (with high ceilings), and especially the youngsters were very happy for the excelent intenet connection :-). In addition, you really have a lovely garden and a beautiful seafront.
We appreciated that we stayed in a neighborhood where we could experience the authentic life at Tobago. And we were so grateful that Theodora helped us to buy a local Christmas dinner and that she made curry fish for. Please give her our warmest regards!
Thank you again - we will recommend you to all our friends here in Norway!

We had a fantastic stay at the two ground floor Apartments. This must be one of the best locations for a holiday rental villa. We were a Family of 6, With grandparents, parents and grandchildren. We all enjoyed the stay and had a wonderful time, at the pool, at the Beach and exploring the island. The locals are really pleasant and we were invited to harvest at the neighbour's house, a great experience. The crew With Steve, Washi and the fantastic housekeeper Theadora made everything go smoothly from pickup until dropping us off at the airport when leaving. Fresh Fish and lobster supplied by another neighbour made, tasted fantastic.
We got to see the leatherback turtles coming on the Beach, a wonderful experience.
We will recommend this Place to all who are looking for a tranquil Place on the lovely Beach.

Diving and snorkelling, birdwatching hummingbirds, pelicans, fregatebirds and a great variety of sugar birds and watching the giant leather back turtles lying their eggs in the darkness on the beach just outside our yard in the period March - July.
