Villa Ramos Dos is situated in Puerto Calero on the Spanish island of Lanzarote. This detached holiday rental property sleeps up to 8 people along with a private swimming pool. The villa is near beaches, restaurants and bars.

The villa is set in a perfect position; just a few steps from the pretty marina of Puerto Calero which is one of the most exclusive locations on Lanzarote. The villa has sea views, over the marina and towards the nearby island of Fuerteventura.

Layout:

The villa is set on two floors, with the main accommodation being set on the upper floor. Here can be found one airy lounge with bay windows, kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the lower floor there is a convenient and independent one-bedroomed apartment, which can be accessed via an internal staircase or via the outside. This apartment features a large kitchen with sitting area and a bathroom with shower as well as a double bedroom.

The villa is surrounded by a well kept garden, offering the plus of a big brick-built barbeque. For the safety of the children the pool area is gated.

Living Room:

The main lounge has panoramic bay windows with delightful views keeping the lounge bright and welcoming. There is a sofa bed which can accommodate and extra person if required.

To the rear of the lounge there is a raised dining area with large table and chairs. The lounge opens to a sunny front balcony.

Kitchen:

Villa Ramos Dos offers the bonus of having two kitchens: one on each level. Both kitchens are fully equipped for the preparation of meals at home. The villa also has a dishwasher as well as a washing machine located in the outdoor utility room.

There is also an outside kitchen with BBQ and preparation sink. This is the perfect place to charcoal some succulent meats or fresh fish straight from the local fishermen!

Bedrooms:

The upper accommodation has 3 bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin. The lower floor apartment has a double bedroom. All the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The lower level has a kitchen and double bedroom with bathroom.

Bathrooms:

There are 3 fully tiled bathrooms: 2 on the upper floor and 1 on the lower floor. The en-suite to the master bedroom has a full-sized bath and the others have generously sized showers.

Private Pool:

The highlight of the villa is the private pool, a sun-trap, facing south. Around the pool are palms and even banana plants. If you visit at the right time, you might even be able to pick a banana for the first time! Tropical palm trees shade the sun beds. Next to the pool is a large dining table for 8 people.

Lovely villa needs improvements

My partner and I stayed at this villa for a week. We did encounter some problems including the pool heating not working, previous guests still occupying the villa when we arrived and a below standards cleaner.

When we booked through Owners Direct it goes through to Agni Travel who we booked with and whilst there we spoke to the Agni Travel customer service team and the Irish lady helped immensely she was very willing to help, friendly and tried her best to make sure the villa was what we expected.

Despite the problems the villa was beautiful, really big, lovely open kitchen/living room area, we sat on the balcony and watched the sunset over the mountains most nights, it was beautiful. The pool is huge for two people, just a little deep in the shallow end for a person of 5'2! The sun is over the pool from around 10 til about 5 which for November was ideal. Even though there were only two of us it would be perfect for a family, all the rooms were nice with plenty of storage space including a safe.

The villa does need some maintenance though, such as some repainting, the pool is in need of a makeover and little things such as the lighting around the pool not working.

However, we had a lovely trip, the area is perfect, there's variety of restaurants, and a supermarket literally 5 minutes walk away at the marina. Although it's really easy to get to Puerto Del Carmen too.

If the problems we encountered while there are sorted I would definitely return to this villa.

Beautiful, spacious villa in superb location

Puerta Calero is a lovely resort. We could see the sea from the villa and views of the hills. Outside facilities very good and pool well maintained . Did not use barbecue but other guests might.

We liked the villa which was well maintained and very comfortable.

We think that everything was covered well in your information and publicity material.

We were very happy with the villa and its location.

très bonnes prestations

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La villa est spacieuse et les services sont complets. Ménage compris, linge de toilette aussi.

La piscine a de belles dimensions et le fait qu'elle soit chauffée a été apprécié en mars: les enfants étaient ravis.

Nous recommandons vivement. Excellent rapport qualité-prix à cette période.
