Due to flight cancellations, we arrived a day late. We attempted to contact the owner by text and phone in Canada, to explain our delay, but received no answer. Upon arrival, unable to work the door code, a neighbour assisted us by calling the owner to get instruction. The owner stated she never received our calls. We both called the same number.
The washing machine and dryer were dirty, and there was not a file of house instructions or local information.
We were disappointed the owner did not meet and greet us since she was on the premises part of the time we were there.
In these circumstances, we would expect to receive a refund of one day’s accommodation.
