Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment Situated In La Alameda Apodaca

Two bedroom air-conditioned apartment on the 2nd floor of a fully refurbished elegant old building with lift access and free Wifi and telephone for locals calls. Fully equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). All the rooms have beautiful fitted wooden floors and double glazing. One bedroom is double, the other is twin. The living room has a modern sofa and television. The bathroom has bath, shower and bidet.

About Ana Garcia

I am a Spanish woman who has been living in the UK for the last 20 years. I decided it was time to find a new home in Spain - somewhere to escape to for my holidays, and eventually to settle down in. After spending a lot of time thinking about where I most wanted to be, I decided that Cadiz was the perfect city. Somewhere I could happily live full time. Near the sea, and with fantastic food, music, dance (I'm a Flamenco dancer) and culture.

Why Ana Garcia chose Cádiz

I fell in love with this apartment the first time I saw it, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it ! I think I was very lucky. It's in the best part of the city, and the renovated building and my apartment in particular is gorgeous.

What makes this apartment unique

The views over the Alameda and the sea, the peace and quiet in the evenings, despite being right in the heart of one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the south of Spain. And to see the very best Flamenco shows, I have to walk only two minutes to El Baluarte de Candaleria. A fantastic restaurant only a minute away:

Balandro (really one of the very best on Cadiz), and my favourite bar (El Veedor ... check out the tortillas) is just a short stagger away.

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment in an excellent location

My wife and I spent 6 wonderful days using Ana's luxury apartment in Old Town, Cadiz as a base for exploring this fascinating city and surroundings. There was nothing in the apartment we could fault, it had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. The communal areas outside the apartment were also clean and well maintained, the lift was useful and the parking space invaluable. The car lift was a new experience for us but was not a problem though a small car is a must. We usually walked from the apartment to the many interesting areas of the Old Town though occasionally took a bus which stopped nearby. The catamaran to Rota and Puerto Santa Maria was well worth doing as was a trip on the train to Jerez. In the city,the highlights for us were the fantastic market, the cathedral and tower, many other beautiful historical buildings and, of course, the many memorable tapas restaurants.

Ana, the owner, was the perfect host, she responded without delay to emails and her housekeeper in Cadiz was most helpful. When our electric kettle broke, after an email to Ana, we found a new one had been delivered to the apartment within a few hours - excellent service! We recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Comfortable and very good location in Cádiz

The flat is comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The location is great and not in a touristy area. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a small supermarket and baker's just round the corner. Ana was a very helpful host.

Excellent option near old town Cadiz

We visited for a week in September. The apartment was perfect for our needs. It is close to the old town, with many cafes and other amenities within a few minutes walk. The sea is also just across the road, with a pleasant walk around the outer edge of Cadiz.

The apartment itself was spotless and had everything needed. The bathroom has actually been updated from the pictures. The kitchen is small and well equipped. Ana was very responsive to any questions.

For access to the underground garage via list, a compact car (VW Golf) was fine. But we never used it during the week due to proximity of everything.

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment with everything you need. Excellent communication with the owner Ana and the apartment caretaker Alejandra was very helpful and always available.

When you visit Cadiz you will always want to go back.

Lovely apartment, although garage not for the feint hearted, as access to car lift (to basement parking) very tight.

Great city; very different to other Spanish cities visited with varied options in terms of sightseeing. Very well located apartment which was well equipped and spotlessly clean. AC, parking and wifi a bonus.

The neighbourhood is situated in one of the most beautiful and peaceful neighbourhoods of the old town of Cadiz. As you step outside of the apartment you find the tranquil shady gardens of Alameda Apodaca overlooking the sea. Within a stone's throw you can find some of the best tapas bars in town. And you are less than 15 minutes walk to the famous La Caleta beach.
