Apartment Beauregard is a lovely one-bedroom apartment in a recently built residence just 300m from super-fast Le Prarion bubble cable car.

The apartment is fully equipped for five people to stay in with a double bedroom and three people in the lounge area on a double and a single sofa bed.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a four-ring hob, fridge, dishwasher and cutlery and crockery for six.

A garage under the building provides for both a vehicle and skis and boards in winter.

The balcony faces up the valley, looking on to the peaks of Aiguille de Midi and Mont Blanc du Tacul.

Lac Chavants is 100m from the apartment and has course fishing, an aerial ropes course and beautiful, well-marked nature walks.

There is a small local bar and a tobacconist right outside, or a 700m walk takes you to the Kitsch Inn where great food, cold beer and a warm atmosphere await.

The supermarket is 1.5km from the apartment. Chamonix is 7km away. The route between is serviced by a regular and free bus service.

Apartment Beauregarde is small but provides enough accommodation for two adults and 2 children, with ample cupboard space for storage. It was perfectly located for the Prarion bubble, a short walk away and as an added bonus had on-site parking! One slight draw back was that it has only one bathroom but it is lovely and warm. Would benefit from more cooking facilities but as it was reasonably priced eating out was an easy option.

Great apartment with great view

Apart was really nice with everything you need and a stunning view of the Mont Blanc Massif.

We traveled without transport so were reliant on public transport to get round which was fine except that last bus/train were around 8pm. Supermarket is around 1 mile away which is mentioned in the property description but there are a couple of smaller shops closer.

Location otherwise was great with a lovely like (and lakeside bar) very close.

Situated 5km from Chamonix in the French Alps, Les Houches is the first ski resort you meet when you enter the Chamonix valley. This great family skiing area has stunning views of Mont Blanc and is accessed by a choice of two main cable cars.

Les Houches also has the Kandahar Run, a famous World Cup downhill piste for those looking for more challenging skiing and snowboarding.

Les Houches has plenty of restaurants and bars. Chamonix town and the ski domains of Les Tour, Grand Montets, Flegere and Brevent are all accessed by the free bus service
