About Ruth Forder

Hi, we are a couple that live near Mijas and have lived here for almost 11 years. Our dog Lucy adopted us when we had been here for 1 year and therefore have to continue living near the forest for her, she hates the water and beach life !!!! We lived in West London for many years but we love the fabulous weather that we have here most of the year and could never return.

Why Ruth Forder chose Elveria

We first bought a 2 bed property in the same complex but because we loved it so much we then bought the penthouse apartment. Originally it belonged to the developer, so there are many extras in the property that others don't have, like the wooden floors upstairs and larger kitchen.

What makes this apartment unique

When we viewed the apartment we noticed there was a larger terrace then other penthouses, the builder had made it larger for his Mum - how lovely......here we enjoy having a G & T or glass of wine or two.

From the moment I walked into the apartment I just loved all about it.

Spotless / upmarket / up to date / friendly apartment.

I did not want to go home after my two week holiday. I have booked for next year.

Everyone wants a sea-view, and you certainly get it at this apartment.

Getting that sea view means so much more to me....It means I'm first on and last off the beach. Better still I don't have to go looking for a parking space in the heat. And no hot car to get into at the end of the day.

Through bitter experience I have found that all the best properties are usually booked months, or even years , in advance. So I have my two weeks booked each year... Happy days.

Just love this apartment.

As good as it looks

I just love this apartment. It looks as good as in the pictures....better, because you don't see how close you are to the amazing beach..

It is a very well kept , clean apartment. There are lots of nice pieces that make it luxurious. Nothing is overlooked.

I'll be back again.

We had a lovely week long stay in this beautiful apartment. I was able to do a lot of work while on holiday, which is very important to me. The unlimited WIFI was the reason we chose the apartment. It is very hard to get apartments with good WIFI.

The furnishings are top quality and very nice . The kitchen has everything you could possibly need.

TAXIS arrived within 5 mins of calling them which is a luxury.

Best of all the matresses were extremely comfortable. I had the best sleep ever.

My family and I recently stayed at this beautifully furnished beachfront penthouse which is situated in a prime position within the complex over looking beautifully lush landscaped gardens out to the sea. The huge terrace which wraps around the apartment gets all day sun with unobstructed 180 degree views of the coast. A great place to unwind and relax and have morning coffee or a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

Plenty of room whether indoors or out for everyone to have their own space. Each of the bedrooms are master suites, all having their own bathrooms.

The beach accessed through a private gate from the complex is one of the nicest we have seen along the coast with natural dunes and sand.

We would strongly recommend staying in this apartment, other apartments we have stayed at in the area just do not compare. We will definitely be coming back to stay. This is the best!!

This is the nicest apartment I have ever stayed in. We arrived and walked onto the most beautiful balcony you could imagine. It is right on top of the beach.

I had my morning coffee sitting looking at the little fishing boats catching their fish. In the evening I sat with my glass of wine looking at the sun go down. Sun all day long on this balcony.

The inside is just as nice. It has everything you could ever want for. Its immaculately clean and well maintained.

The very best thing about the apartment was that with a minute we were on the beach and had a big choice of where to walk to for our evening meal. We loved to go to the local beach restaurants. There must be 10 within a 5 min walk. The Beach House Rest is very special and at the doorstep.

I also loved having a golf club only 3 mins drive in the car. We hired our clubs in the airport when we arrived and found it was cheaper than bringing your own down. And very good quality.

I will absolutely go back to this apartment again.
