This 6 bedroomed property is perfectly situated high above Braunton village overlooking the estuary & benefiting from sea views. Croyde bay beach and Saunton beach are only a few minute drive.

The fully enclosed private garden is a haven of grass, plants and trees with ample space for children to play and explore whilst the adults prepare a BBQ and soak up the sun around the table and chairs on the risen terrace or laze around on the lower patio.

LOCATION

Hillside is a great colonial holiday home with ample of space for multiple families and groups, situated high above Braunton village offering great views of Braunton burrows unesco biosphere, Saunton beach and the countryside. Croyde bay and Saunton beach is within easy reach along the coastal road. stroll into Braunton village with variety of shops and restaurants, Braunton also offers the Burrows which is one of the largest dune systems to explore, driving distance to Croyde that features a quaint old village laid back lifestyle with a variety of shops, places to eat and surf shops.

Parking for 4/5 cars on the private sloping driveway, A side gate leads you to the front of this beautiful building with views of the large garden that wraps around the property.

PROPERTY

Expansive grand hallway with original floorboards and original wooden staircase.

Living room is a large functional space with a fireplace, black corner sofa, 2 colour co-ordinated footstools, Freeview 32 inch LCD TV, DVD player, coffee table and 2 reading lamps. The living room is decorated in cream tones with an original feature fireplace.

Drawing room offers the perfect place to relax and unwind from the selection of books provided, decorated in calming creams with 2 large black leather sofas and accent cushions. (This room is an ideal space to use the double air bed to sleep up to 13 guests.)

The open plan kitchen diner offers modern living style with a convenient breakfast bar, large wooden dinning table and chairs, large American fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas 4 ringed hob, oven, microwave, 4 slice toaster, coffee machine and other appliances that you would expect from a kitchen of this standard.

Downstairs shower room with a large corner rain shower with hose attachment, W.C and washbasin (perfect for washing off after a day at the beach!)

Hillside has a bedroom conversion with harmonizing green floral tones. This ground floor bedroom has plenty of room with a double bed, side tables, reading lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers, tub chair and doors opening out over the terrace garden space. (Ideal for limited mobility)

1ST FLOOR

Upstairs Hillside house has a very large landing with original floorboards, the landing links a variety of rooms.

Bedroom Two has a double bed. bedside units, lamps, built in wardrobe, dressing table and has spectacular views over looking the coastline and garden below.

Bedroom Three has a king-size bed with a large built in wardrobe, dressing table, mirror, 2 side tables and 2 lamps. This room enjoys views overlooking Braunton village.

Bedroom Four has a large built in wardrobe with plenty of storage space, bedside tallboy with a lamp and a set of bunk beds.

Bedroom Five is a twin room with bedside tables, black lamps and a wall mounted mirror.

Bedroom Six has a single bed, freestanding unit with toys/games for the childrens enjoyment and benefits from a LCD TV for viewing dvds - Access through to the balcony (Restored for 2017) Enjoy fabulous views overlooking the estuary.

The family bathroom has a mono- tone floor with a modern bath, large corner rain shower with hose attachment, sink, bathroom cabinet and mirror.

A separate W.C can also be found on this floor.

Our stay at Hillside was a good experience. The property was spacious and very well equipped both for cooking/eating and entertainment . We had a small problem which occurred during our stay which was dealt with in a very quick manner to our satisfaction.
