Luxury two-bedroom apartment on the first floor in a renovated historic building 'Ancien Hotel du Globe'. A contemporary style and highest quality furnishings and fittings throughout.

The apartment throughout has a light airy feel with under-floor central heating, fully-fitted open plan kitchen, designer bathrooms with high quality marble/stone finishes, elegant walnut parquet floor, hand-made walnut wardrobes in both bedrooms three balconies. It measures 72 square meters in total.

From both bedrooms French doors open onto fantastic views of either Les Grand Montetes or Mount Blanc.

This apartment has an open plan lounge with Samsung Smart TV. Kitchen has all the comforts of home and a great coffee machine and dining area for 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate WC with a washing machine and dryer. There is free parking available across the road in the Argentiere train station carpark.

This apartment is very flexible on the sleeping configuration so please ask for more details.

Argentiere is a small yet world-renowned alpine village at the end of the Chamonix Valley and within 5km from the Swiss border. You can see Argentiere Glacier to the south east of the village. It has one of the best skiing on the Grand Montetes, within walking distance.

The apartment is accessible to all the hiking, mountain biking during the Summer season. The bus stop and train station are on your door step.

This apartment is great for the picturesque views from all windows. It has all the comforts of home away from home..... It has a great village feel and the locals are really friendly.

We also love that it has great access to the Grand Montets ski lifts and hiking is literally at the back door.

Our Argentiere visit was really a great trip - too short. The apartment was very flexible with our group 4 adults and 2 kids. There was great views from every window in the apartment and seemed to have everything we needed in there.

There was the option to use the garage but easy enough to park in at the train station directly across the road from the place. The village itself was a very busy little center with all the necessary shops, chemist, bars, some great restaurants, and supermarket. The bus was immediately outside our apartment also so no one needed to drive.

Great apartment!

A lovely, fully-equipped apartment in a beautiful location. The views are gorgeous, the property is nicely decorated and has everything you need, including the little things so many rental properties are missing, like hooks on doors to hang your clothes and towels. Hot water was plentiful, and the wifi worked perfectly, both frequent problems in European rentals. The floors are heated, and there is an actual tumble dryer, which is almost impossible to find in Europe. Good closet space, free parking in the train station across the street and several restaurants close by, including one in the same building. Chamonix, with many restaurants, is a ten minute drive. The owner, Cassandra, and the local manager, Wendy, were both great to work with. I highly recommend this property!

good location but some road noise; ok size for 4; average interior, unfinished entrance

The property is well located for access to Grand Montets lift station. It's directly opposite Argentiere SNCF railway station on the first floor of a converted former old hotel. It sits directly above La P'tit Verte, an excellent local restaurant (reservation advised). From the outside it appears the development is not quite finished. The main bedroom overlooks the main road with some vehicle noise at night though all windows are double glazed. It's a fairly new apartment, reasonably well decorated. It's quite well equipped with an excellent coffee machine. There were a few issues eg only two of four hotplates on hob were working. The apartment was clean and well presented on arrival. Bedrooms a reasonable size for a skiing property in France though quilts a bit small for a 186cm (6' 2") occupant. Bathrooms well appointed with good overhead shower in main bedroom en suite and less good in other bathroom. Owner was responsive and efficient throughout the booking and arrival process. Undercover parking available next door for an extra €50 but very tight parking space. Overall, a good property that fell just short of five stars for us because of maintenance issues and road noise.

Great location, beautiful apartment in fantastic town. 10/10

We were welcomed by wendy when we arrived who showed us around and gave us all the info we needed re the apartment and local amenities. The apartment is beautiful, in great condition and a brilliant location. We had a fantastic 3 night break and the restaurant below was terrific. We would recommend this property for anyone visiting the Chamonix valley-it was very quiet at night too. Very comfortable and very well equipped. Thanks so much Cassandra-we will be back.

Beautiful apartment!

As a frequently traveling family, I've had the opportunity to stay at many different places and I have to say that this apartment is beautiful. The owner has clearly invested time and effort into it. I don't often write reviews and the ones that I read I'm wary of but whoever is interested in renting this, I'll have to say that you will NOT be disappointed.

Not only is this apartment beautiful, modern and clean but the owner was always available if we had any questions or needed anything. Fantastic!

We are a family of skiers and were disappointed we didn't get to ski bc the lifts weren't open yet so the town was basically shut down and there wasn't much to do.

We arrived at night and neither the bus driver we were on or a second bus driver present at our bus stop were willing to help us find a local restaurant where our keys were waiting. The owner had given us excellent instructions but we got somewhat turned around.

We were left on our own and eventually found the place. The staff at Office Bar restaurant (where our keys were waiting) were VERY helpful and one of the gentleman (possibly from England bc of his British accent) went so far as to carry my younger daughter's suitcase thru the snow to the apartment.

Very kind people that went the extra mile for us but BEWARE of asking help from the bus drivers or the village locals. They will not help! Go to Office Bar restaurant if you're English speaking and need help.

Also BEWARE, if you do not rent a car, that you'll need to figure out bus routes and times bc the last bus from Chamonix to Argentiere leaves around 7:50pm and if you get stuck in Chamonix you will NOT find a taxi and people will not be willing to help.

That was the only downside to our experience: very unfriendly people and you will be on your own!

Great property!!!

We spent few days in this apartment and everything was perfect, fully equipment, clean and very comfortable. Very good contact with owner. In close neighborhood there was bus and train station, bars, restaurant and few shops. By car you can reach chamonix in 5 minutes. We can truly recommend this apartment.

Très belle location avec des équipements de qualité.

Il ne manque rien dans la cuisine (produits electro, vaisselle, épices, produits de base...) sauf peut être un appareil à fondue ou raclette ??!!!

Literie de qualité. Bonne situation dans la ville.

Argentiere is a quite alpine village with some of Chamonix’s Valley best skiing on the Grands Montets which is within walking distance from the Le Globe apartment. This gives access to high mountain hiking and mountain biking in the summer time. The apartment also has some great local bars and restaurants on its doorstep.
