About this property

Some houses are on the beach but not all are beach houses. This is the Real Thing; built right into the dune. Step right off the deck onto the dune and a few more steps you're in the water! The beach front of the house has 40 foot frontage with all glass sliding doors, and windows. A great view from every room. The house has a private deck on the dune opening onto the grand Chesapeake Bay and nine mile long beach! The dune gives some privacy from the beach but still affords a great view. There is short 10 foot sandy private path leading from the back of the deck over the dune directly to the beach. Perfect.

The main house has two bedrooms with queen beds and two bathrooms. And, are you visiting with friends . . . . During the summer season - there is an "in-law apartment" next door to the main house (separate entrances - totally separate rentals) that can be available for $150/night. CALL US TO RESERVE.

The Wi fi is strong! We offer a, "Smart" 55 inch 4k TV (hulu and amazon furnished) and lots of sea breezes! Only a mile away from the interstate with easy access to all points, Norfolk, VA Beach, Hampton, Williamsburg, even DC. Open, bright, airy, dune level, all one floor, ceiling fans and ac in every room. Fully equipped kitchen, gas oven and central heat. Some dogs ok with approval and pet fee.

Awesome vacay!

We all greatly enjoyed our stay. This fabulous beach house is steps away from the beac right over the dune. It was very relaxing to sit out on the deck and watch the ships go by. We cooked on the grill last night and enjoyed sitting bayside for dinner. The sunrise this morning was stunning! Thank you for providing kayaks for my family to use and the effortless check in procedure 😊

Best Little Beach House

Hands down our most memorable vacation to date! The Owner actually came to say hello to us and the property managers Amanda, Cindy and Brian were so responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. The view is amazing, the back deck is perfect for coffee and a beautiful sunrise. The huge windows make waking up easy, when you open your eyes that beautiful view is mesmerizing. We have already planned our trip next year and we will be booking with Great Coastal again! Don’t hesitate just book it and thank me later!!

I love my beach house. But I am an avid sailor and spend many months sailing thousands of miles away so my loss is your gain

I personally remodeled the bungalow opened it up with expansive views and airy kitchen and made it , well a beach house. And the attached large in-law suite with separate kitchen, laundry, smart tv and beach access is a great place for anyone not just in laws .

Cindy and her group will take care of you and after you stay there once you will be hooked
