About the property

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 15 minutes to the West End

Live like a Londoner. The flat has its own entrance as originally it was a corner shop.

The open plan living/dining/kitchen is at ground level with a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, if you wish. It has an oven, microwave, gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. There are two stools for eating at a counter.

A few steps down to the two bedrooms and shower room (with toilet and basin) and en suite bathroom (Shower over tub, basin, toilet and bidet).

The master bedroom, with en suite, can be arranged as a King bed (6ft wide) or as two extra long twin beds. It opens onto a small patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a evening drink. Smoking is allowed on the patio.

The other bedroom has a Queen bed (5 1/2 ft wide bed).

The living room has two sofas, one of which has a small double sofa bed.

The dining room seats 6.

The entire flat is about 900 ft 2 (80 square meters).

This is a non-smoking, non-pet flat.

We provide some items for your arrival but you will probably have to get more, especially for stays of more than a few days. Items include shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, oil & vinegar.

We have a crib and high chair for use at no charge, upon request. Due to the nature of the decoration, the flat is okay for 2-5 year olds only if they are well behaved. It'll save you from constantly running after them.

Why Joel Schweitzer chose Westminster and West End

The flat used to be a corner shop. It still has the stained glass windows with farm scenes. As I grew up on a dairy farm there was some resonance for me.

I was looking for a project and this house had to be completely redone. I have enjoyed doing it up, while learning the history of the area and the type of construction typical to London in the mid-19th century.

What makes this apartment unique

You'll like the location as it is central to the best parts of London. The area is quiet and residential but close to shops and restaurants.

We hope you, like other guests, will feel very comfortable in a flat that is like a home, much more than a rental flat or a hotel room.

Loved It!

Loved staying in this flat, really felt like coming home. A sanctuary after big days (and nights) out in London. We mostly used the tube, a few minutes walk to both Paddington and Edgeware Rd stations. We used 7-day travel cards which also gave us lots of 2-4-1 deals to attractions. M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose all convenient. We often picked up something to heat in the oven for dinner on our way home. Very comfortable for family of 4, including 18 & 21yr-old sons - lots of TV stations for a night in. Good Wi-Fi. Big bonus being able to separate king size bed into 2 singles, and having 2 bathrooms. Owner great to deal with, very helpful. Used the car service recommended by owner to Heathrow - punctual and for 4 of us very cost-effective. And just in case you're a cricket tragic, this flat is only 15 mins walk to Lord's!

Perfect New Year's Get Away!

This flat was perfect for our family of 5! Highly recommend! It was so nice to be able to come back to the flat after a long day of site seeing and have enough space for our whole family to relax. As many others have stated, it is super convenient to Paddington Station. Joel and Nacho were wonderful hosts and always responded very quickly to any questions we had and helped with our planning of our trip and restaurant recommendations. When we come back to London, we will definitely rent here again!! Thank you Joel and Nacho for sharing your home with us!

Love this property

My initial impression was how personable Joel and Nacho are; they made us feel right at home.

As to the property, it is huge, in a safe neighborhood, and spotless. A quiet place even though it is close to Paddington and a hospital.

Wonderful Christmas Stay

Having stayed in London before, we wanted to try a new location with our two children in their 20s. Joel and Nacho's Little Venice flat was truly lovely and a perfect location for our 8 night stay. Flat is roomy, well-appointed and clean with two very good bathrooms. We requested the master bedroom be set up as twins-- where the kids stayed. My husband and I stayed in the queen bedroom. Both rooms had comfortable beds, over-sufficient closet space and quite good light for a ground floor. The main room is well-laid out with a good kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, but only a 3 minute walk to busy Paddington Station tube lines and Heathrow Express train. Grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants also very close. Little Venice is great to explore and walks along the canals are a wonderful way to get you to fun places like Nob Hill and Camden. Joel was very organized and very helpful leading up to our arrival--even warning us of post-Christmas Express train shut down as soon as he found out. Nacho's informational walk-through once we arrived covered everything very well. Highly recommend.

Wonderful London flat

The flat exceeded our expectations. It is very roomy , great floor plan , super clean and has all the amenities you need. We were 2 couples and the space was perfect. The owners provide lots of information and were always available to answer all,our questions. Quiet neighbourhood, just a 5 min walk to the tube .

Great Home Base

Stayed at Joel's place for 8 nights, it was wonderful. Great communication, Nacho greeted us upon arrival and explained the workings of the Flat to us. A wonderful layout, the bedrooms are down a few steps from the living room so you feel you have some extra space. All the furnishings were in excellent condition, no rips or tears on couches, etc.

5 minute walk to the tube and same for Sainsbury market across from Nuffield gym, you can find everything for your stay. We did a bicycle tour which was relaxing and fun. Take the boat down the canal to Camden market, great food spots and stores.

The area is a leafy residential area with canals and shops.
