GETTING THERE
It is 6 Euro each on the AIrport Bus into Old Nice. If there are 4-6 people traveling it maybe just as cheap to contact Med-Tours contact Aurelie at Medtours Highly recommended service, I always use them, they will meet you in ARRIVALS; takes the stress out of queuing for taxis and buses.

Bus details and how to get to the apartment:
TERMINAL 1 :This is the terminal for BA flights. Take the 98 Airport Bus from Terminal 1 or 2. They run every 20 minutes
Terminal 1.No. 98 bus stop is just outside arrivals. The 98 bus goes from Quai 1
TERMINAL 2: Come out of airport terminal, cross over road and head right towards Bus Quays, go to bay 5 for Bus signed Nice Centre/Riquer No 98, not Nice SNCF which is in next bay 6.

Alight from the 98 airport bus at the /Cathedrale Ville Vielle
( you will see Subway sandwich shop opposite the stop.) It is the second stop after the bus has turned off the Promenade des Anglais just by the Childrens Carousel on the Park. Rue Saint Vincent is now approx 4 mins walk away.

Get off the bus and cross over the tram lines onto Boulevard Jean Jaures, head right as you face Boulevard Jean Jaures and walk for about 400 yards until you get to Caramel restaurant on the corner of Rue du Marche, turn left (Rue du Marche) down the steps, then turn left turn at the local bakers (Au ble d'Azur) into Rue Moulin and then at the end of Rue Moulin you are in Rue St Vincent and actually facing our block No 10. The entrance to the building is to the right of the Layaly bar The door bell is the 2nd one from the bottom (Love) press the buzzer whereupon my agent will greet you and explain all the facilities etc.

If going to the apartment by cab you might as well ask the driver to drop you off at the fountain at the "Palais de Justice". Print off a map and you will see that Rue Saint Vincent is a 30 second walk from the fountain. Taxis always drop you off there even if you ask for Rue Saint Vincent as the road is often inaccessible due to all the restaurant having all their chairs and tables out in the streets.

BY TRAIN: If arriving at Nice Railway Station, come out of station and turn left towards the main shopping street Tram tracks/Rue Jean Medicin. Get on tram towards Old Town Nice, get off at Opera Ville Vielle (about 4 stops) then alight from tram turn left and walk along Jean Jaures for a few hundred yards until you reach the Caramel restaurant on the corner of Rue du Marche, turn right (Rue du Marche) down the steps, then turn left turn at the local bakers (Au ble d'Azur) into Rue Moulin and then at the end of Rue Moulin you are in Rue St Vincent and actually facing our block No 10. The entrance to the building is to the right of the Layaly bar The door bell is the 2nd one from the bottom (Love) press the buzzer whereupon my agent will greet you and explain all the facilities etc.

Car Parking exists throughout Nice. Our holiday accommodation is very close to public car parking facilities and car rental hire companies in Nice and we provide parking information to all of those arriving by car.
Public parking costs around €100/week. largely pedestrianized and so parking can be difficult.
However, there are several public car parks within very easy reach. Details of car parks in the area can be found on the Nice tourist web site

Why they chose this property

This beautifully furnished 3 bed air condioned apartment is fairly unique in Old Town Nice as most apartments are 1/2 bedrooms and about 70 sq metres. My place is over 100 sq metres and very spacious. It is situated in an ideal position, off the main drag, 5 mins from beach even if you are a slow walker, 2 mins from trams, 2 mins from buses where you can go to Monaco, Villefranche, Menton, Beaulieu, Cap Ferat, Grasse .
Its only 3 tram stops from the main railway station. It is surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars etc. Only 30 mins on the bus from the Nice Airport. I have a wonderful assistant who live 5 minutes away and has lived in Nice for 20 years and knows where to go and eat, she can arrange transportation, translation and any problems with the apartment will be sorted out immediately
NB
The Old Town is compact, vibrant, bustling and yet peaceful.
There are many bars and restaurants, but this is an attraction.
It is safe, convenient and full of colours and flavours.
Having said that it may not be the place to stay if you like peace and quiet. Part of the beauty is the fact it is one of the cleanest Cities in Europe; however first timers should be aware that they start cleaning all the streets, emptying the bins in the Old Town at 5.30-6.00 am. No matter where your apartment is the beeping Rubbish Lorry reversing up the old narrow streets will probably awake you. Anywhere is noisy at some time. Heck, it only takes a disruptive neighbour with heels, or domestic dispute, or dog barking to disrupt any lodgement. My apartment is quiet, aside from the random reveller at night, and the garbage bin truck in the mornings.
Personally I love the fact you have all these wonderful bars, , shops and restaurants on your doorstep and judging by my bookings and 5 star reviews so do most tourists. However if you want a quiet life I would suggest you stay out of town.

What makes this property unique

GUIDE TO NICE
Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur, is beautifully curved round the Bay of Angels, desirable and as lively as you like. Its reputation for glamour is enhanced by an equal reputation for top-end scandal. The clearest-possible light spangles the Mediterranean to create a setting for sybarites, and shadows for well-dressed decadence. The inauguration, in autumn 2013, of the brand new Promenade du Paillon - 30 acres of park running from the city centre to the sea - indicates that it has the imagination and drive to fulfill its ambitions. This is a glorious, and playful, slice of urban greensward. And it’s bewitching at pretty much any time of year.
The key sight - it's unmissable as you wing into Nice airport - is the glorious curve of the Bay of Angels, miles of the loveliest urban sea-front in Europe, fringed by the celebrated Promenade des Anglais. You could spend an entire trip just wandering along here. But you'll also need to see Nice old town, where the real Niçois re-colonise their city, hosting the south's finest flower market on the Cours
There is a sense of sunlit privilege to the Promenade-des-Anglais. Everyone with a gram of glamour has been. Now you’re there, too, amid palms, pergolas, amblers of all nations and senior ladies with small dogs. Twentieth-century development has left blots, but grand edifices survive, notably the Palais de Masséna, now a free museum.
Nip through the gardens and inside, to see how Niçois life was when lived by aristocrats. Walk on to the Albert I gardens and then along Rue St-François-de-Paule. This spits you out at the Cours Saleya whose flower market (daily, bar Mondays) is an effusion of Provençal sensuality. Now plunge into the old town, its streets a concentration of Mediterranean life.
