Lovely flat with very helpful host
We spent a very pleasant week in Florence staying in this property. Communication with Sonia was excellent over WhatsApp. She greeted us at the flat even though it was 20:00 by the time we arrived and gave us lots of useful advice on local shops, restaurants and transport. She also helped us book a taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay.
The flat is about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Florence. It’s in a quieter area, but still near supermarkets and with a good choice of nearby local restaurants, which seemed to offer better value than the ones in the centre.
The outside space was larger than we expected and was a pleasant place to sit outside or have a meal. As you’d expect from a ground floor courtyard garden, it’s overlooked by the balconies of other flats above.
The flat was well equipped. The air conditioning worked well even though it was over 40C for part of our stay. The internet speed was excellent, there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the solid walls meant there was no issue with noise from other flats.
