Our condo is on the top floor of The Shores Club with direct ocean front access onto the quiet, NO-DRIVE BEACH. The views and the venue are SPECTACULAR! Be sure to check our reviews!

Please note: While our nightly rent may be slightly higher than some, we are "owner managed." That means (1) We do not pay a property management company huge fees on top of our nightly rate, so if you compare total costs, we are lower than almost every condo that is managed by a commercial agent; (2) The rent is put back into the condo to keep it clean and in excellent repair...not to a rental company to support their profitability, and we do not rely on a busy property manager to manage our condo's repair problems. We ask our renters to notify us immediately if there are any issues and we fix the problem immediately.

What Makes The Shores Club and our condo unique?
(1) Quiet & pristine, No-Drive beach: We have the best of both worlds with the quiet beach in front of our condo...but walk about 10 minutes north on the beach for wonderful people-watching and food vendors! When you walk out the ocean-side door of The Shores Club, you walk directly across the pool deck, down the ramp to the beach and you are on the 23 miles stretch of hard-packed, sandy beach that comprises world-acclaimed, Daytona Beach. Unlike most/many of the condos on Daytona Beach, The Shores Club is on the quiet, “No Drive” portion of the beach and offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It is very different from the drive-on sections where cars drive between sun-bathers and the water. Our pool and beach stairs and ramp ARE OPEN!

(2) Double balconies on the top, 11th floor as well as floor to ceiling, ocean-side windows...for most spectacular views of sunrises over the ocean, spectacular sunsets over the Inter-coastal, as well as moonlight dancing over both the ocean and inter-coastal. waters! You have to see it to believe how beautiful it is!

(3) The Shores Club amenities include:

- Two (2) pool-side BBQ grills and picnic tables for ocean side dining;

Beautifully remodeled and fully equipped, our "Home Away from Home 'Too,' " two-bedroom, 11th (top) floor condo offers all the amenities of a home (because it IS our winter home!) We completely "gutted" and remodeled the ENTIRE, 1200 sq. ft. condo to add to the spaciousness and ocean views throughout. You will find everything you need for a wonderful week-long vacation. This clean, completely renovated condo is located in a family-friendly, secured, 75 unit building. It has private, secured and designated parking for one car. Additional outside parking spaces are available on first-come basis.

We have done the work so you can keep it simple and relax! All we ask is that you enjoy your stay and treat our "Home-Away-from-Home Too" with the same TLC that we do!

We also have a three-bedroom condo in The Shores Club which also has been entirely remodeled. Both condos are our winter homes...we stay in both depending upon visitors! Check out the reviews for that site (VRBO 814260) to get an even better feel for how we work with our renters/guests. We try to make every renter feel like they are our guests...because they are!

Our Rules:
I. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FOR MORE THAN 6 PERSONS (with NO MORE THAN FOUR ADULTS), because the fire code and sleeping arrangements do not accommodate more:
Note: The bunk beds in the guest bedroom will only accommodate children 12 years or younger who weigh NO MORE than 120 pounds. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not want any injured guests!
II. SMOKING AND/OR PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the condo. If smoking or a pet is detected, the lease is voided, you will be required to immediately depart and you will be charged for the cost to sanitize the condo. We take our promise to provide a smoke-free and pet allergen-free environment and our renters' health seriously.
III. NO PARTIES

Delightful
Cheryl is a fantastic hostess. She was very attentive and patient with our questions. The condo unit is so nicely furnished and decorated. It was spotless. The kitchen supplies are everything you can possible need. The view on the 11 floor is amazing and breathtaking. You can see the sunrise in the morning and watch the sunset in balcony area outside your exit door. If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax and wind down, book this unit. Thank you Cheryl.

Dehumidifier was hard to ignore in second bedroom
The condo has a large kitchen that is well stocked. There is a long eating/counter area with plenty of seating. Plus a round table just off of the kitchen area that seats four. The living room furniture is comfortable. The ocean view is right there, what more could one want. The furniture on the balcony was comfortable. For those who like a softer bed, the Master bedroom meets this. The master shower has a high step into it. The shower head worked okay. In the other shower there was very little water pressure. The dehumidifier system is noisy, like a bathroom fan being left on constantly and was a bit annoying but you get used to it in time. We respected the owners request to leave it running at all times. I usually am more involved in choosing our sites and going over details of the agreement but this time my husband did it. So when I read the check-out requirements after we arrived I was upset of what was asked of us. We have stayed in many places in many areas and have never been asked more then to strip the beds and make sure dishes were put through the dishwasher. Now we are being asked to wash the towels, wash cloths, bathmats and used blankets. And to start the sheets and pillow cases before we leave. The washing machines are high efficiency and take 1 hour and 15 minutes at least to do a cycle so our last day was doing laundry. And if there are more than 2 loads of laundry left a $35 /load fee will be charged from our deposit.

Breathtaking Walking into the Condo
I can’t tell you how much we love Cheryl and John’s spectacular home. When we walked in through the front door, we were speechless. Cheryl even put up a gorgeous Christmas tree that made it even more special. The location is perfect as is the condo. The furnishings are so lovely and bring about such relaxation and peace. All you hear is the waves and ocean and being on the top floor that is all you hear - so quiet. Everything is very luxurious and the condo has everything you need in it. Cheryl and John are incredible hosts and helpful in every way. My husband and I cannot wait to return. The association runs a beautiful operation and you are literally steps away from the beach - one without vehicles on it. Thank you both for making our vacation above and beyond perfect.

We purchased our three bedroom condo at The Shores Club in 2016. We LOVE the hard-packed sand, the views from both decks...We LOVE the tranquility and beauty! When we celebrated Thanksgiving at the condo with our family in 2016, we realized a three-bedroom, with a growing family, would never provide enough space....so we decided to buy "Home-Away-From Home Two!" This is our home. We purchased this condo in 2017 and totally "gutted" it, moving and removing walls; put in new ceilings, porcelain tile floors, new cabinets, granite & quartz countertops, and all new appliances. We have furnished it as we would a home...because it IS our second home! When we are not here, we love to share the spectacular views and the beauty this venue offers with people who appreciate it as much as we do. We believe in taking excellent care of our property and we hope that you will treat it as we do - with TLC. Please do not not sit on furniture with wet or dirty clothes or do things that may damage or ruin the furnishings and contents. We love our winter "get-away" home and hope you will, too! Because we have rented condos through VRBO and other sites, we know how important clean and inviting accommodations are…with NO surprises! We have tried to make everything sparkling clean, inviting & comfortable. A little about us: We live in MN, Land of 10,000 Lakes ....but also the state with many - 30 degree (that is "minus" 30 degrees!) or lower during winter! Our "Home-Away-from Home" is our winter escape! We have three adult children and five grandchildren who love our ocean front condo as much as we do. We are non-smokers. We love animals but we believe it is important to provide accommodations which are as free from allergens as possible. We do NOT allow smoking or pets in our condo - NO EXCEPTIONS! #1102 at The Shores Club, is a very unique property: From the top (11th) floor, you have: (1) A bird's eye view of miles of hard-packed, sandy beach where avid bikers can ride for miles; (2) Spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the east and west-facing balconies; (3) Pelican fly-bys directly overhead and in front of your balcony; (4) Waves glistening in the sun or moonlight; (5) Frequent dolphin sightings, even swimming with the paddleboarders....and an occasional whale! If you visit between December and March, you may see a whale (or several, sometimes)! The coastal area between Jacksonville and Cape Canaveral is recognized as the premier whale-watching location in Florida. We have seen "Right" whales from our condo windows the last couple of winters. Right whales migrate to the coastal area between Jacksonville and Cape Canaveral for warmer waters...and then head north in March. According to "Visit Florida," there are four fishing piers in Florida that make good whale-watching spots and Sun Glow pier in Daytona Beach Shores is one of them. We see Sun Glow pier from our condo windows...and fortunately, the whales, too! (6) Friendly occupants; (7) So many near-by attractions: Lighthouse Point Park with all its beauty; Kayaking on the Halifax River and in Preserves; The Daytona Beach Boardwalk, Manatees at Blue Spring State Park...and Disney World (one hour away)...and so many, many more! You have to stay in order to realize the uniqueness and the sheer beauty of the views surrounding #1102 ALL DAY LONG . People who come usually come back again and again!
