Family friendly Sleeps 6 with new Kitchen & Bathroom. Overlooking sheep field

Large spacious half of 200 year old farmhouse, furnished to a high standard, 2 lovely large bedrooms (1 x Double bedroom & large bedroom with a DOUBLE bed & two single beds) lounge with TV/DVD, Large kitchen/dining room and large private garden with patio and BBQ.

We are a quiet farm off the main roads but easily accessible. The farm has a private driveway but a lovely path which you can cycle or walk along knowing children are safe.

Ample parking. Near picturesque market towns of Eye, and Diss.

Oakley is great base for the Norfolk/Suffolk area including beaches at Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Snape Maltings all within under hours drive.

Norwich 25 minutes away with its Cathedral & Castle and great shops

North Norfolk Coast, including Wells, Burnhams, Cromer

My name is Milly and I have always lived in this area and at the house for about 15 years, its located on my Husbands Farm. Pecks Farmhouse is tucked away in a peaceful and secluded location within walking distance of a pretty little village and a great pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Caroline, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed, including plenty of local information, a home baked cake and eggs from the farm's hens. The farmhouse is spacious and homely with lots of lovely decorative touches. We were made welcome from our arrival and felt very well cared for by Caroline - who went out of her way to help us during our stay. One aspect of the location we enjoyed was the ease with which we could explore Suffolk and Norfolk. We visited the Suffolk and Norfolk coast and the Broads during our stay - and there is plenty more to do on our next visit. The farmhouse was well equipped for all aspects of our holiday - games, books, magazines, plenty of hot water and a very well equipped kitchen. There are beautiful country walks from the front door and a picturesque village at the end of the lane. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely property to anyone who would like a relaxing peaceful place to stay that is within reach of amenities and places to explore.

It was a fantastic weekend. the house has plenty of details, is charming, well decorated. the kids enjoyed it a lot, playing in the garden, etc.

Oakley is a village on the Suffolk / Norfolk border located about 5 minutes by car from Eye or a leisurely twenty minute stroll from the door along a tree lined Avenue. Nearby is the Historic Oaksmere hotel where you can enjoy food and drinks and enjoy the lovely grounds.

The Historic market town of Eye with its 152 Grade 2 listed buildings, Castle and Church,has a variety of shops of interest and a library, pub, bank,delicatessen,takeaways,cafes and good restaurant.

There are also fishing lakes nearby and plenty of tracks and country roads to explore on bike rides and walks as well as nature reserves and lots of good quality pubs in the area.

Thornham Walks and Coachhouse Restaurant 7min drive

Hoxne village is a 5min drive and has a shop and a pub serving excellent food,The Swan is Grade II listed and was built back in 1480 by the Bishop of Norwich.

Wingfield barns next to the College,has a programme of cultural events.
