A bright and spacious living room enjoys far reaching views of the river and is furnished in a picturesque yet modern cottage style, with comfort and ambience in mind.

A large sofa, two chairs, a feature fireplace and music stereo, Free-view flat screen TV and DVD player further enhance this cosy home-from-home feel and the living room conveniently leads through to a spacious family-friendly kitchen diner, which offers pretty views of the cottage courtyard garden.

To the kitchen guests can enjoy preparing and cooking delicious meals during their stay, with a practical layout and modern appliances to hand, including a gas hob & electric oven. The breakfast table is the perfect place for enjoying a relaxed morning cup of coffee and a door leads directly out to the rustic cottage garden, which features a raised romantic alfresco dining terrace, which is easily reached by a series of 3-4 steps.

The modern holiday cottage continues with its charm and comfort upstairs, with a versatile offering of sleeping accommodation ideal for families and friends of up to 5 guests.

The sunny and spacious master bedroom enjoys beautiful views of the tranquil Mill Pond and across to the River Dart in the distance, and has been thoughtfully furnished, with a stylish and comfortable super-king size bed and contemporary furniture.

The second bedroom to the first floor is ideal for accommodating another 2 guests, with a pair of comfortable single beds and views to enjoy of the pretty green courtyard garden below.

A modern family bathroom fitted with an electric shower and separate bath tub is also conveniently situated to the first floor.

An additional guest may be further accommodated on the sofa bed in the lounge. For guests’ further comfort a cloakroom WC is also situated in the ground floor utility room.

A private parking space to the front of the cottage may be used during guests’ stay and further parking can also be found to the right down the quiet lane at the bottom, just 50m away.

The charming holiday cottage is perfectly situated for enjoying the picturesque delights of Stoke Gabriel, with its idyllic village scene of thatched cottages, friendly shops and local pubs, all providing a perfect base from which to enjoy your dream Devon getaway.

The village is a popular local destination, with its quay side attracting both young and old to enjoy a spot of crabbing and cream teas during the summer months.

The annual crabbing competition is a popular local event and the famous South Devon attractions and activities are all located just a short scenic drive away; from the fun-filled water sports and walking routes along the River Dart, the popular River cruises and Totnes Castle built in the Norman motte & bailey style, the tranquil bays and beaches of Brixham to the family-friendly Zoo attraction and Golf courses of Paignton; there is something in this beautiful holiday haven for everyone!

Bow Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel on the Dart Estuary with thatched cottages, local pub’s, shops and the quayside for fishing and crabbing ~ the perfect location for a fun, restful family holiday or a break with friends. A main attraction in the village is the Quay on the mill pond, where though-out the summer, children catch crabs with hand lines for hours on end; culminating in the annual Crabbing Competition. Cream Tea’s, Ice Creams, light meals & a glass of wine can all be enjoyed the from the Crab Shack Café directly on the Quayside.
