Located along the most southerly point of Devon and boasting striking sea views of the rugged coastline of Prawle Point, this friendly and inviting coastguard cottage provides a fabulous and enviable retreat for fans of the great outdoors!

The pretty modernised holiday cottage is arranged over 3 floors and provides comfortable sea view accommodation for groups of up to 8, with bright and spacious rooms to ensure guests have the perfect holiday retreat in which to relax and entertain.

The sunny living room enjoys dramatic direct 180° sea views and provides a wonderful home-from-home environment for guests, with a pair of sofas fronting a cosy wood burning stove, a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi with a strong signal is all on hand for you to enjoy.

The lounge door lead directly out to a south facing private garden which offers an outdoor terrace area ideal for enjoying alfresco dinner parties and enviously bathed in all day sunshine. The far reaching sea views from here also provide an idyllic backdrop to top your Devon stay!

Extending beyond the lounge area is a charming country style dining area with those fabulous seascapes still in view! It’s just perfect for enjoying year-round gatherings, come rain or shine. The beautiful solid pine table comfortably sits up to 8 and the warm cosy feel sets the scene for an intimate coastguard cottage luncheon or dinner party. A separate newly fitted kitchen in between the front door and downstairs WC; provides all the practical space and appliances required for cooking delicious home-cooked meals during your stay.

The Coastguard Cottage further benefits from versatile family-friendly sleeping accommodation for up to 8 guests, with a sea view, master king size loft bedroom with en-suite wet room at the very top of the house, a second sea view queen size en-suite bedroom, a third twin bedroom with shower room next door and a fourth bedroom furnished with bunk beds ~ the lower level being a double size!

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage with a lovely little garden and a great view of the sea beyond.A perfect place to relax, go for walks (along the coastal footpath which passes the end of the garden) and visit gems of beaches nearby.It's very quiet and all you hear at night is the sound of the sea.

Sea view, Wood & Coal Burning Stove, Cot & highchair Other Booking Notes: *There is an additional cost of £20 for 1 dog (not permitted in summer holidays) *Hot water is by immersion heater and there are night storage radiators, combined with convector heaters as well as a recently installed multi-fuel stove (fuel not included). *Fuel can be purchased from the Piglet Stores (the local village shop) in East Prawle Tel: 01548 511486 and also at Ashby's stores in Charleton garage, East Charleton is a treasure trove and sells almost everything. *Bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided but not towels or tea-towels. *Not suitable for wheelchair users but suitable for those with moderate mobility, who can manage one flight of stairs. The terrace is a wonderful place to sit and admire the view. In season, change-over day is Friday to Friday.
Out of season we can be more flexible.
Short break of 3 nights and more can only be taken between the end of Nov and the beginning of March ~ all other months have a minimum of 7 nights.
1 dog is permitted at £20. However, dogs are not permitted to stay in the summer school holidays due to a shortage of cleaning time.
