We're an amazing Lake & Mountain view community. We do not have lake access. No Smoking in Cottage/Porches/Patios, NO pets/animals or visiting pets/animals on property. NO exceptions. No Smoking, No trailers or anything in tow.
Short Rental Agreement sent from owner. Photo ID required.

We strongly advise purchasing Travel insurance that is offered during checkout. Contact VRBO with any questions regarding the policy. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policies. 100% refund if canceled 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled 14 days before arrival date.
Late checkin/early checkout are nonrefundable. Any adjustments will fall under same refund policies. $25 charge for no-shows.

Our Country Cottages have been a long time vacation destination for those wishing to get away from it all! Redbud Retreat has 1 King Bedroom, 1 en-suite Bath and pullout queen couch. Fully equipped kitchens, small appliances, dishes, cookware and utensils. Stainless appliances, Range, Microwave oven and refrigerator. Washer/dryer. Fireplace with remote Gas Logs (oct-march). Private outdoor area with propane grill. 40" HDTV in living room and bedroom, DVD, Free Premium Channels, Free Parking and Free WiFi. All linens and towels provided. Central Air and Heat for year round comfort. Front Porch with amazing lake and mountain views.

Lake Chatuge where Georgia meets North Carolina. 130 miles of shoreline, provides an excellent fishing, swimming, boating and water sports playground. Hike the many area trails, enjoy scenic drives, and relax near beautiful waterfalls. The nearby Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers offer kayaking and whitewater rafting adventures. Ride horses and mine for gems. Several area courses offer golfing and tennis.
Visit the crafts fairs, shop for antiques, browse the flea markets, and enjoy the area festivals, including the Georgia Mountain Fair and Oktoberfest. Ride the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. A beautiful, clean cabin to vacation in!

My wife on a recent vacation from the UK, rented the Redbud Retreat cabin, it was perfect and just what we were looking for to start off our road trip. The cottage is beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. The whole property is very comfortable and everything you will need is provided and available to make your stay feel like, home from home. We were impressed with the use of the heat pump to provide the heating & cooling provision - very sustainable! The view from the deck/porch of the mountains & Lake Chatuge is spectacular and we enjoyed sitting there in the evenings taking it all in. It was also a nice spot to eat breakfast on the porch as well. There are places around the lake that you can hire anything from a Paddle Board to water ski boat to a Pontoon Boat all at reasonable costs. Audra is great at communications and always replied very quickly to any questions or queries we had before we booked and during our stay. This is a property we would defiantly return to the next time we visit this part of North Carolina.

Beautiful cabin, incredible paradise!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for a week to scape and writing new songs for my new album! The place is incredible, it’s like being in a paradise, surrounded by mountains, trees…. You can see the lake from any angle of the cabin. You are just 10 minutes away from the Ingles Store. I bought my groceries there and the store is big and very nice! You’ll find everything there to cook a good meal. Delighted with that wonderful place on the border of Georgia and North Carolina. The last day a family of deers came to say goodbye… We fell in love with this cabin. I would return for sure, to continue writing my songs and receiving inspiration from God in such a wonderful place!

Cabin In The Woods

Wonderful cabin and setting in a wooded community and beautiful view of the lake from the front porch. Enjoyed our coffee there ea morning , even though it was About 35 degrees outside.
