St Margaret's Bay is a beautiful leafy coastal village in the heart of the famous White Cliffs Country, surrounded by National Trust Land in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is conveniently positioned between the pretty seaside resort of Deal and the Port of Dover and is only 25 minutes drive to the historic City of Canterbury and the Cinque Port Medieval town of Sandwich. The fast train connects to London in 1 hour from Dover and day trips to France via ferry or the Channel Tunnel are an easy option with the accommodation being so close to the port.

St Margaret's Bay is a hidden gem sheltered from the North Winds, ideal for walks encompassing some of the finest scenery in the Garden of England.

Dover, Deal and Walmer Castles are only 15 minutes by car and can also be reached along many of the fabulous cliff-top and coastal walks. The area is rich in historic houses, gardens and is surrounded by many traditional character Kentish villages.

Best stay ever!

Calais View Garden is the perfect stay for two.

The sea view from the patio and the bedroom is stunning, the equipmpent of the apartment is perfect and the rooms are furnished exclusively. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

This stay leaves nothing to be desired.

Best place ever

Tim and Jenny, thank you again for a great week! You are lovely hosts, and provide a stunning place in St. Margrets.

We enjoyed every second of our stay for several reasons: the good weather (yesss!), the magical view over the bay from the terrace, the beautiful apartment in which we started relaxing in an instant. Also the wunderful kentish landscape that we explored and enjoyed as much as the little pubs, villages, old churches, and so on.

This place is the best location ever, wether it's the high quality interior, the very well equipped kitchen (even zipper plastic bags for your lunch-to-go), the best parking spot with a view, the 1-minute-walk to the beach, the comfortable bed or the luxurious bathroom.

We recommend this place a hundred percent and will definetely come back one day!

A high end luxury apartment within a really attractive Victorian villa with beautiful sea views.

The owners were friendly and attentive. The welcome pack was extremely generous, including a lovely bottle of wine. The fixtures and fittings were of a high standard making the whole apartment really comfortable. The Pateo was a fantastic area to sit and enjoy the wonderful views.

Excellent in every respect!

We had a wonderful two weeks holiday in this very well presented apartment. Situated in a stunning location, very well suited for walking, the beach and exploring the lovely country side.

The apartment is very well equipped with attention to detail, clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We can recommend this accommodation without any hesitation at all to people who appreciate quality.

Short breaks are shown in the rates above. The weekend rate shown above is for 3 nights, a 2 night weekend break is available - price and details on request.

Where 'week only' bookings are indicated, these can be offered as short breaks 1 week in advance of the booking period. The price for the short breaks will be 65% of the above price for 3 days and 75% for 4 days.

Changeover days are Friday from April to October.
Changeover days are Friday or Monday from November to March.
Any variation of the arrival day must be agreed with the owner in advance.
Booking - A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking. The balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.

When paying by bank transfer from overseas, please liaise with your bank to ensure that the full value due in GBP is paid into our UK bank
