The apartment has 3 bedrooms but can be rented with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, one or two bathrooms (depending number of guests), two toilets and a huge terrace overlooking the sea.
Of course, when you rent the apartment with 1 or 2 bedrooms, we block up the unused rooms and the rest of apartment is fully dedicated to you !
The apartment is located in the penultimate floor of a private residence. Elevator, air conditioning in all rooms.
Covered car park is also available in the same building on request.
Beaulieu sur Mer is a very charming tvillage situated between Nice and Monaco.
We roffer all the amenities. A supermarket is located in the building and each morning a lovely little Provençal market offers local fruits and vegetables.
There are excellent restaurants like the 'African Queen' on the port of Beaulieu (10 minutes walk) or the 'Reserve de Beaulieu' (2 Michelin stars) still at 10-minute walk.
You will have to enjoy the beautiful walk (Rouvier 's walk) along the sea and reach Saint Jean Cap Ferrat Village), about 40 minutes round trip ....if you do not make a break in one of the attractive cafés of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat !
Also at Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, you will have to visit ' Villa Ephrusi de Rothchild' and its lavish garden (restaurant on the spot). Also do not miss to visit in Beaulieu sur mer the gorgeous greek 'Villa Kerylos' (only 10 minutes walk from the apartment).
The station, which is in front of the apartment, takes you 10 minutes to Monaco, where you can visit the Exotic Garden, the Oceanographic Museum, lunch in one of prestigious restaurants (Louis XV of Ducasse or Robuchon's one) or participate in one the 700 events that punctuate throughout the year, as the Rolex Tennis Masters, Monaco Grand Prix, Jumping, Yacht Show, Circus Festival !
You can also extend your route to Menton for the Lemon Festival in January or Cocteau's Museum, or to Italy at Ventimiglia (20 minutes by train) to enjoy pizza and pasta.
On the other side to the west, Nice is also a great city to discover. Carnival, Flower Market, Old Town and of course the famous 'Promenade des Anglais'.
The apartment is very nice. Located in the centre of the city, it allows access to beaches, ports or shops in minutes. Very sunny and lightly, air conditioning, elevator, Wi Fi, 3 bedrooms, the apartment is very functional.
In winter, the weather is often very pleasant (10 to 15 degrees) and lunch can often eat out. The orange and lemon trees are picked. The mimosas are in bloom in January. However in an hour's drive you can go skiing for the day (to Limone in Italy or in Isola 2000 in France).
In the spring you can swim from April (water temperature 17 degrees).
Summer temperatures rarely exceed 35 degrees and the water around 25 degrees.
We request additional expenses for the household, made each week and it is possible to reserve a parking garage in the building.
Nice airport is 30 minutes by taxi. The price is about 60 € (ask the price before).
You will never ever forget your stay in Beaulieu sur Mer : one of the most beautiful village in the French Riviera !
This was our second stay in this gem of an apartment and on our return home we immediately rebooked for a 3rd stay next year as we had such an enjoyable and relaxing time. The apartment is spotlessly clean, roomy, well furnished and very light. The large 'L' shaped terrace/balcony has mesmerising views looking across to where the Alpes Maritime tumbled down into the sea by the bay and Marina. It was lovely to be able to take our meals al fresco. The classy supermarket on the ground floor is only obvious at one end of the apartment block building. Walking along outside you would never guess that the dark opaque windows hid a supermarket. So convenient just popping down to top up on your groceries and wine. Across the way is a lovely, old fashioned patisserie where you can buy the most yummy little mignons patisserie cakes, bonbons and tartlets. Fresh vegetables, fish and fruit can be bought in a little market square close-by as can freshly rotisserie chickens at a small stall type shop (superior to the ones sold in the supermarket).
As other reviewers have remarked, that although the railway station is more or less immediately beneath the apartment, we were not disturbed at all by the comings and goings of the trains.
Apart from a couple of very minor niggles about which I got in touch with the owners, the apartment was perfect for our needs.
Beaulieu sur Mer is a beautiful, Belle Epoque small town forming part of the golden triangle that is Beaulieu, Cap Ferat and Villfranche sur Mer. Each is within close /easy walking distance of one another, but they are so different in atmosphere and ambience - very special places. Villa Euphrussi de Rothschild is just a 8 minute bus ride away on Cap Ferrat where you enter a different world of stunning beauty; not only the Villa is beautiful but there are magnificent gardens with musical fountains. There is an excellent restaurant /tea room and if you choose to sit outside, you can have a table overlooking Villefranche Bay below. The food and service is excellent, with large helpings and is freshly prepared. It is very reasonably priced with the main dishes being about 16euros, but of course you need to factor in the charge for entry to the Villa and Gardens. And of course Nice and Monte Carlo are only minutes away on the train
We were very warmly welcomed and things explained to us by the owners who also said farewell to us on our departure.
An attractive and very spacious apartment ideally located in the centre of this beautiful town. The apartment was fully equipped, spotlessly clean and had a most useful underground parking facility. Although close to the railway station there was no noise whatsoever, everything was quite and calm. Without any hesitation I would recommend this apartment to anyone considering staying in this area and I together with my two friends will certainly return. last but by no means least it was a delight tot meet the charming owner.
We spent 9 days at this fabulous apartment in April. The whole booking process with Beatrice was very easy. She was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped (nice personal touches like slippers), light and well located being above a supermarket and next to the railway station. Do not take these last 2 points as a negative, far from it! The station despite being alongside the apartment added to the charm and in no way caused us a problem! All trains stopped at the station (except 2 per day) so on entry to the station, were going slowly. The train network is very good and a good way to get around, just avoid rush hour 5pm ish as really busy then and you will have to stand! The supermarket is well stocked, open until late and really useful. No issues from it being below the building!
Beaulieu is very upmarket, wonderful buildings and shops, but friendly. All restaurants that we ate at we're good and staff chatty. The local produce market is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and a lovely way to start the day with all the locals; fruit and vegetables are great! Beach is not great, small and fine stones, but we still happily used it! Visited loads of places, by train during our stay but were just as happy to people watch from the huge balcony and stare at the lovely view! Can highly recommend!
Property was fresh and clean. Beds were good. We did feel welcome. Location very conveniant, good view at the sea and local village. Station and supermarket very close by.
Beaulieu was as expected. Everithing on walking distance, the beach, the port with lots of little restaurants and the shops. We certanly will come back. We hope that there will be an oven by that time, that is what we missed. Jan en Anneke
This was our second visit in the space of five weeks. Beatrice was very helpful with our last minute booking. Communication via e-mail and texts was easy. Lovely apartment in a great location. Easy access to transport links, shopping, beaches, walks and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable as was the modern living space. Loved the double balcony space with sea view. We will definitely return.
The apartment is located in the heart of Beaulieu and is convenient for everything, trains, buses, supermarket, beach etc. There is plenty of living space that is light and airy and the balconies are an added bonus. The beds were large & comfortable and both bathrooms modern and clean. The kitchen was adequate but would benefit from a re design to make it more user friendly. The owners were easy to communicate with, both written and verbally, and were very helpful before and during our stay . We had a fabulous holiday and would definitely choose to stay at this property again.
