This home is a spacious "Old Hawaii" style country retreat with spacious interior open to stunning ocean views and breezes. These waters are favored by swimmers, divers, and snorkelers particularly in the summer months when the ocean is usually calm. Families with small children can feel at ease with the reef-protected sandy beach when big surf makes other North Shore beaches hazardous for swimming during the Winter months. Bonus to surfers as home offers front row seats to famous Silva channels the best surf break in Waialua.
No traffic noise here, instead you will sleep soundly to the incredible sound of lulling waves. The Pineapple Pad housekeeper takes great pride in her work, you will find the home well stocked and spotless.
The convenience of this area is also a big attraction, since the highways to Honolulu/Waikiki area and the airport can be accessed without driving through the North Shore's most heavily trafficked spots. Countless things to do just close by: Shopping & Dinning in historic Haleiwa town, horseback riding on the beach, hiking, Paddle boarding, Kayaking, Ka'ena Point, Dillingham airfield, skydiving, paragliding, polo fields, all just a few miles away.

Great spot to getaway from the city

This is in a very quiet area of the North Shore, but there is plenty to do nearby. The property itself doesn't have a lot of beach, and access is via a ladder over the seawall, but Mokuleia Beach Park is just a mile or two away if you want to lay out. There are food trucks, groceries, and souvenir type places in both Waialua and Haleiwa which are the two closest towns. If you want to stock up, Wahiawa and Mililani are a 15 minute drive and you can find Walmart, Costco, etc. Everyone here is friendly and we had no troubles getting around and seeing things. The sidewalks do roll up early in the small towns though, so get your shopping done before 6!

Perfect location, quiet neighborhood

Wonderful views, great for families to unwind and reconnect. Kitchenware pots/pans could be updated, and patch ceiling, but i am sure people and weather are a factor for both of these. Want to come back

Beautiful place

Everything is as listed, and the location is magic. The ocean is really in front. One star less for the interior: there is no dish washer, and the dishes you will find here are really mixed up. there is no 6 identic glasses nor dishes nor wine glasses. The table is not in good condition. The main faucet in the kitschen was broken, and was not fixed during our stay (there was a second one). We have rented several houses in Hawaii, this one was the least good maintained. In my world this should be there in a house costing 500 Dollars. It does not cost a lot to have these things fixed. One star for communication with the property manager because we did not have any. But oceanfront is great, the location and surroundings beautiful. We enjoyed it very much!
