Located on the top floor (with lift access) of this newly built Art Deco style building this apartment has every conceivable luxury to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, the balcony enjoys tranquil views of the Penryn river and Falmouth Marina, the furniture is of very high quality and parking and WiFi are also provided.

The large open plan living room has a corner sofa which is just perfect to sit and watch the boats outside – a large TV is provided but the ever changing views and activity on the water may just drag you away!

Light floods into every corner of this apartment, from the dining area to the modern kitchen – complete with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. A Breakfast bar and stools mean that all can be involved in preparing the catch of the day!

The 2 bedrooms at The Slipway are a stylish retreat. The master bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, large wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, WC and basin.

Bedroom 2 can be made up as twin single beds or a super king, here guests will also find a TV and games console – it is a holiday after all!

The family bathroom has a power-shower fitted above the bath, WC and basin.

Outside, the balcony ensures everyone gets a healthy dose of sea air! If you would rather be on the water the shared slipway enable guests to launch a small boat while Falmouth Marina next door also has access to boat charter and training / lessons.

A large garage is provided for guests use and can also be used to store sailing equipment if required!

The Slipway is a fabulous apartment offering luxury accommodation along with amazing views, and just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Falmouth Harbour with its great choice of bars and restaurants. Whether you plan to spend a week on the water or your time exploring this property will not disappoint!

This is no ordinary holiday let property - we were blown away by the standard of renovation and decoration. An amazing old building that has been transformed into a chic apartment, we could hardly bear to leave. Needs to be seen to be believed!

Amazing warehouse conversion - we loved i

We thought Quayside was amazing. The old warehouse building is very impressive and it is obvious that no expense has been spared on the conversion. The kitchen puts my own at home to shame and the bathrooms are very smart too. Big comfortable beds and everything extremely clean.

Definitely not your average holiday let apartment, more like someones own home with fancy LED mood lighting. The kids also loved the huge TV, hard-wired iPod music system and games console.

The location was excellent, several great shops, cafes, pubs and galleries on the doorstep, and the centre of Falmouth was a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. We enjoyed a very relaxing week here and did not want to go home. We will be back!

Glorious Cornwall

Quayside was the ideal place to explore the beauty of Cornwall. It was very spacious and decorated to a high standard. All the beds are soft and comfortable, the orthopaedic one was a treat. Our guest and selves thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this property, when you first enter it has the WOW factor.

Exklusive Wohnung

Verbrachten eine Woche im Herbst mit 5 Personen. Lage: gut, busstation direkt vor der Anlage, für Pkw kein Außenparkplatz, nur Garage mit maximal 2 m Höhe und sehr schmal ! Zur Wohnung : sehr exklusiv und originell eingerichtet, mit vielen luxeriösen Features, machte einen sauberen Eindruck. 2 Schlafzimmer zur Straße/Parkplatz raus, störte uns aber nicht, Innenschlafzimmer eher schmal, Schränke durch Bett zugestellt, aber Regal nutzbar. Bettwäsche und Handtücher hochwertig und nicht abgenutzt. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein BUS Belüftungssystem, d.h. es läuft permanent eine Lüftung, aber leise und dezent, im Mittelschlafzimmer aber hörbar. Nur die Schlafzimmer zur Straße hin haben Fenster, die man öffnen kann, ansonsten gibt es keine Fenster oder Tageslicht (außer der Vorraum bei dem Eingang) da die Wohnung innen in einen Komplex liegt. Auch über der Küchenzeile befinden sich Fenster, die aber geschlossen und lediglich vom Treppenhaus dahinter beleuchtet sind. Für einen Sommerurlaub wäre das für uns wenig gut vorstellbar, da zu wenig natürliches Licht etc.

Ansonsten eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage, sehr zu empfehlen, auch für 6 Personen !

Falmouth is home to Cornwall's National Maritime museum and its 'surfs up', 'Titanic' and other special exhibitions. There are network of passenger ferries that will transport you past wooded creeks, quaint villages and pretty hamlets to St Mawes or Truro along the Fal and Helford Rivers. There are diving and sailing schools, yacht charter, skippered cruises, water sports centres with equipment for hire and local fishing trips.

Falmouth's beaches, Gyllyngvase, Swanpool, Castle, Tunnel and Maenporth all have lovely white sands and there is also a rural beach at Kiln Quay. Opposite Swan pool beach there is a tranquil nature reserve teaming with the local wildlife.

The Fal estuary has played a major role in our nations defense dating back to Tudor times and Henry V111's castles at Pendennis and are open all the year round. Renting a holiday cottage in Falmouth allows you to visit the subtropical valley garden at Glendurgan and also Kimberly Park, Queen Mary Gardens and Fox Rosehill Gardens. It is also convenient for the other popular gardens of Cornwall, such as Trebah, Trelissick, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

The Princess Theater has a year round music, drama, festival and variety program, as does the theater at the Poly. Falmouth art gallery is family friendly, free and has one of the most important collections in Cornwall. Truro has a theater and nightlife venue at the Hall for Cornwall.

Falmouth has an abundance of hotels, restaurants and cafes offering a variety of Cornish and international cuisine made from local produce and seafood, not forgetting the Cornish pasty.
