Surrounded by beautiful gardens and large communal swimming pool. These apartment are probably the best in Javea. One en- suite bedroom is located on the first floor, dining room, balcony and spacious fully equipped kitchen; on the second floor there are 2 great bedrooms with bathroom and private terraces with fantastic views.

The Apartment has been decorated in a modern style with color and good taste.

When you walk in you will feel immediately at home and ready to enjoy everything that the apartment and Javea has to offer!

Jávea is protected from harsh winter winds of the north and it enjoys a unique micro climate that the World Health Organization named as one of the healthiest in the world. There are more recorded hours of sunshine per year in Jávea than in any other place in Spain, making it a popular destination for Northern Europeans during the cold winter months.

Javea consists of different distinct areas:

The old town was once a walled town to protect the inhabitants from marauding pirates that once sailed this coast and there is still evidence of the presence of these fortifications; stone crosses mark the original gates in three locations. In the center of town, mostly built in original Tosca stone shewn from the rocky shore, sits the church of Sant Bartomeu which dates back to the late 14th century but there is evidence that some of the structure may date back a further 300 years. The church suffered extensive damage during the Spanish Civil War and its southern and western walls remain pockmarked with bullet and shell holes. It was listed as a National Historic and Artistic Monument in 1931 and remains a centerpiece of Jávea's Old Town.

The modern municipal market sits opposite on the northern side of the church and stands on the site of the convent of Agustin's Descalces (the barefoot Augustine nuns). Built in 1946, and recently refurbished, the market retains the style of the area and sells fresh fruit and vegetables, locally-caught fish, and meat from the local area.

There is also an ethnographic museum (Museu Arqueològic i Etnogràfic 'Soler Blasco') and an established art gallery in the old town, Atelier 1 with regular art exhibitions are held in the gallery at the town's library.

The port also has a number of restaurants (some on the sea front), a gravel beach and marina. Whilst the history of the harbor stretches back to the 15th century, the first jetty was built in 1871 and it became an important gateway for the export of raisins. The raisin trade collapsed at the end of the 19th century and the settlement became a mere fishing harbor. The modern harbor was built in the 1950s and 1960s. The nautical club has been in the central area of the harbor since 1963. The landmark is the church of Mare de Déu de Loreto, built in 1967 to represent the heart and feelings of Xàbia/Jávea's fishing quarter. Its shape is that of an oval boat keel and it was built to resemble a fishing vessel bursting through the waves.

The sandy beach area is an arc of wide white sand flanked by a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings there are a number of stalls selling handmade crafts. Many of the bars offer live music and stay open until the early hours. Sand artists and street entertainers work along the Arenal beach during the summer months. The Punta de l'Arenal behind the Parador Nacional Hotel was once an important Roman settlement where the fish sauce garum was produced. On the other end of the small bay once stood the Fontana Castle, built in 1424 and destroyed by the English during the Peninsular War in the early 19th century; the ruins of the castle now lie under modern apartment buildings but some of the castle's surviving cannons sit outside the church of Sant Bartomeu in the old town.

Throughout Javea and the surrounding areas there are so many wonderful Restaurants..

Superb quality apartment, ideal location

Communication with Alexandra was excellent, she welcomed us warmly and showed us into the lovely apartment. The apartment was nice and clean.

There is a lift for getting your suitcases to the apartment, the stairs in the apartment itself to the upper bedrooms would be a challenge if you had a problem with stairs, or very young children.

The apartment is very nicely appointed with some lovely touches, the kitchen is fully equipped with water filter, dishwasher, washing machine and a decent sized fridge freezer.

There is a good sized lcd smart tv with sky free channels if you want to keep in touch with your soaps. the WiFi connection is also decent.

The views from the terraces are lovely and the complex is very quiet.

The apartment was very clean and Alexandra made herself available via phone if there were any problems (there weren't any).

There is a terrace downstairs with a table and chairs, we found it ideal for a drink before going out for the evening, or for playing cards with the kids.

There are two terraces upstairs, one has an airer, ideally located next to the fan for the air-conditioning, this dries towels and swimwear really quickly.

The Arenal is a lovely area of sandy beach with many restaurants, this is only 10-12 mins at a gentle stroll along the canal, there is a stony beach closer but we always chose the Arenal as our evening location.

If you are a frequent visitor to Javea, this is a superb location with plenty of parking although if you didn't rent a car, its location would be fine if you wanted to sit by the pool or just visit the beach or port. Javea old town is not too far to walk and there is a mercadonna supermarket 2 minutes drive away.

The pool is a really decent size, very clean, it is open from 10am till 3pm, and then 5pm till 10pm. There are no inflatables allowed and they ask that the noise is kept down. We didn't have a problem with this, and for the week we were there, there were never more than 4 or 5 other people at the pool, and mostly we had it to ourselves, we were amazed as this was high season, but Alexandra informed us that this is typical. There are no communal loungers at the pool, but the grass is soft.

It is likely we will return, and we will buy and leave some folding loungers by the pool.

A really nice touch, that was appreciated was that Alexandra offered to take the damage deposit in Sterling, so we didn't have to take a handful of Euros back with us at the end of our holiday.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

Our second visit to Javea - the first time we stayed in a Villa on the outskirts. This time we wanted to stay in a more central location to eliminate the need for a car. The apartment is in a great spot - 5 minute walk to Arenal where there is a lovely sandy beach and an abundance of restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the Port where again there are a good choice of restaurants.

The apartment is definitely a luxury penthouse and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The pool was great set in well kept grounds.

Our thanks to Alexandra & Don who were the most accommodating hosts. We will definitely be returning to the apartment when we next visit Javea.

Wonderful place ! We recommend it !

We stayed on Javea in Aug 2013. The very detailed description of the apartment corresponds completely to the reality. The apartment is very comfortable and luxurious. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning, the very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and of course, the terraces.

The apartment was very clean and very well furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped.

The garden and the swimming pool are wonderful.

The location of the apartment is perfect: walking distance to the sea is less than 5 minutes. The supermarket is at 5 min by car.

On our arrival, we were met by Alexandra. She welcomed us very warmly. She helped us very quickly every time we needed her. The service provided by the owner is excellent.

We deeply recommend this apartment. We know very well the Javea’s area and it is by far one of the most beautiful residence in which we stayed.

First class apartment - just like the photos!

We are frequent visitors to Spain and find Javea a lovely resort with its 3 distinct areas - the port, Arenal (beach area) and historic old town. Definitely something for every taste.

We chose this time to stay in a beautiful apartment just a stone's throw from the seafront where you can sit and have a lovely drink at one of the beach bars. The owners of the apartment - Don and Alexandra - welcomed us on our arrival and were very helpful. The apartment was really first class and looked just like the photos with its marble floors and 3 terraces! - 2 from the upstairs bedrooms and the other from the lounge. We would often sit here and have a drink before going out to one of the many restaurants close by.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had little extras not normally found in holiday apartments. Also we liked the fact that there were 2 floors. The gardens and swimming pool were perfect and a welcome change from the beach.

We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful Apartment,Brilliant Location

We stayed in this apartment in July.We have been going to Javea for many years and we love it,as it is a lovely town with many places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets.We hired a car, although once there, the apartment is situated in such a good location you can easily walk to the beaches and restaurants. The pebble beach is literally a two minute walk and every morning we went for a coffee in one of the many beach cabanas,looking over the bay,it was beautiful.

On arrival we were met by Don and Alexandra who showed us around the apartment and were helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.The apartment was of a very high standard and was pristine.We have stayed at apartments where we felt the need to wash the crockery,cutlery etc before we used them,but there was no need as everything was immaculate.There are several terraces but we mainly used the front one where we sat and had breakfast each morning just catching a glimse of the sea.Outside,there is a large pool which is situated in extensive gardens which are maintained to a high standard.

The Arenal (sandy beach) is a ten minute walk where our two teenage sons enjoyed swimming,canoeing,going on pedlos and paddle boards, i even had a go!! Back along the pebble beach they went windsurfing and when it cools down a bit its a fifteen minute ride in the car to the Go-Karts which they love.So there is plenty to keep everyone busy.

Overall we had a fantastic time and it was great to have such a lovely base to go back to.Don and Alexandra were on hand all the time if we needed them. Thanks Alexandra for making the whole experience a pleasure,right from when i first contacted you, we most definately will be back!! ( Hopefully in September!!)
