Worst Stay ever in France
Owner exhibited no interest in our stay. Too busy with film crew even to help out with power cut. Not even in country on arrival. I had to contact local Marie to obtain his phone number to point out he hadn't sent us any info on where the cottage was. Even then the inadequate info sent us the day before we left for France sent us to the wrong "WHITE GATES" (not even visible from road). No welcome pack, just a note in kitchen warning us of £250 Euro fine if we didn't do the washing up on departure - but no washing up liquid! We were allowed to walk the same parts of the estate as the public when the public were allowed into the estate but at other times were told to confine ourselves to the far side of the lake where there was no footpath, only waste high weeds. Shall I go on? Kitchen light didn't work, weeds in garden waist high in places and lawn uncut, no hairdryer, dishwasher, butter dish, no list of emergency numbers such as Dr, ambulance, fire, police, local pharmacist, supermarket, bank etc, and the stink in the toilet was only ever worsened in my experience by the long drop at Glastonbury..

Rustic gem
A simple rustic cottage in a glorious setting with sweeping views and access to chateau grounds. Owners were delightful and helpful and it was the perfect jumping off point for exploring the area.

Fantastic location
The gite is in the most lovely location imaginable and having the chateau grounds to yourself in the evening is a total delight. The gite itself is full of character and unpretentious. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The beds were very comfortable which was much appreciated after a day’s cycling .

Charming Cottage
Our stay at the cottage of Chateaux Beauregard was our first experience of a rural French holiday and it didn't disappoint. The cottage is set in the grounds and Parc of Chateaux Beauregard making it very unique there were plenty of original features which along with the decor we found charming, the garden at the rear is very private with unspoilt views, we found everything that we needed was well catered for regarding a self catering accommodation. A walk to Celllettes took approx. 15mins where we were able to buy fresh bread and pastries from the bakery also shop at the small but very well stocked supermarket, we speak very limited French but everyone was so friendly and helpful. There is a local bus service which we used to travel to Blois this cost less than 2 euros for both of us and took about 20mins. Thank you Guy for such a warm welcome the bread cheese and wine also the beautiful roses on our arrival were much appreciated.

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Warm welcome.
We are a family of four with two children under 4 years old, who stayed in the Gite for two weeks in June. We enjoyed evenings in the large enclosed garden, walking through the Chateau's park and the views from the Gite. It was very quite. The Gite is clean and functional. There were two high chairs for the kids. The cot for the baby had a comfortable mattress. There was a shed to keep our bicycles. Parking was secure behind a locked gate. We cycled to the bakery most mornings (a few minutes). The local restaurant was excellent. We cycled 8 of the chateaux a velo routes. Four of days we departed directly from the gite.
