Great value for money, very good location

Property is a very good location, approx 10 minutes walk to the centre of York. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and it was very well equipped and clean. As other reviews have said, it is starting to look a little tired in places but, at the time of booking, it was considerably cheaper than other properties, which were quite possibly on the same estate, and so I would consider it excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The location of the house was excellent within an easy walk of the centre. The house itself was disappointing, overpriced for the quality. It looked great from the photos, was clean, but shabby inside, in need of proper maintenance. Wouldn't recommend or stay here again but it didn't spoil our stay as we were meeting family who live in York.

Great location with all the facilities

There were a selection of welcome items on arrival which is always appreciated. 3 good sized bedroom and bath and shower facilities. Fully equipped kitchen for more than 6 people. Convenient location to the station and city. Very comfortable place to stay. We have been visiting York regularly and when we have 6 of us again would look at this accommodation first.

Very good, well appointed holiday let

Our stay at George house was as good as ever, very well appointed property. There was a problem with heating when we arrived....I rang to report the problem, it was quickly dealt with.

Spacious House Close To York City Centre

House was spacious and well equipped in quiet development across the road from the Railway Museum. Very easy to walk into town and lots to do in the town centre. Would definitely book the house if we came to York again.

Excellent customer service from making the reservation to end of stay. The Townhouse was in a good location, within easy walking distance of York City centre and all its attractions. It was well equipped throughout and maintained to a high standard. Would certainly recommend to friends.

We prefer you to pay direct into our client bank account or by cheque. 2.5% fee applies for credit card payments. Details will be supplied when you book. Minimum 25% deposit is required to reserve. The full balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.

Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even we have not yet received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a £25 administration fee. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by your for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

We do not operate on a 100% refund basis.
