About Philip Fasuyi
We are a retired couple who live for lengthy periods in our beautiful self-built house in the Pyrenees Orientales in France. We chose our Woolwich apartment because it would provide us with a continued home near our children and grand-children in the city that we love.
Philip Fasuyi purchased this apartment in 2012
Why Philip Fasuyi chose London
This property is well-located with easy transport access to central London, where we love to visit the museums and galleries. Its within easy reach of Heathrow, Stansted, City and even Gatwick Airports. There are excellent supermarkets nearby and a car is not necessary. On the odd occasion when a car is required, there is an on-site car club where you can hire a car for an hour, a day or a week. Ideal for those out of town trips into the countryside of Kent. A 15 minute drive takes you to the M25 and then onto anywhere in the South-east or onto Channel/ France.
What makes this apartment unique
Compact, well-designed and easy to maintain and with all modern conveniences. A small but more than adequate kitchen. Quiet, with very well maintained common areas. Pleasant neighbours and a real sense of security.

We have now stayed three times and absolutely love returning - it feels like a home away from home, and so much better than a hotel. Easy access from central London by boat, train or DLR and the bustling community of Woolwich nearby. Looking forward to returning later in the year!
I can't give this location 5 stars as in one the mornings we encountered a power cut that lasted well in the afternoon. Otherwise this is a 5 star property by all means, you have everything that you need and above. Easy access to Central London and the area is superb!
Woolwich Arsenal apartment
We loved this apartment! We rented it for four nights as we were attending an event at the Excel center. The journey there and back was easy & took maybe 20 minutes - 30 at most but just two train rides & a short walk from the station.
Philip met us on time and was so gracious and friendly. He told us all about the apartment and the area and we felt instantly at home. The view is stunning, even with all the construction, there is so much to see & watch. Gin & tonics on the balcony - doesn't get much better than that.
One evening we took the Thames clipper from the pier close by & rode it into the Tower Bridge stop. Fantastic ride through the Thames Barriers and through Dickens's London! Highly recommend this apartment. It was clean & had everything we needed. The Dial Arch pub next door was perfect for dinner & drinks after a long day at work.
We felt perfectly safe on the 6th floor and slept with our balcony doors open every night! Just wished we could afford to live there!
We've stayed in this apartment twice and absolutely loved it .... quite atmosphere and far from the crowd ..definitely my cup of tea.
Fantastic family accomodation
This is a lovely flat in a luxury development. There are two bedrooms - the master is quite large. We'd brought our own travel cot and there was room for it to fit into the room with plenty of space to spare. It was really clean and the bathrooms were gorgeous! The kitchen has everything you need including herbs and spices. This was a nice touch.
Philip was friendly and really easy to deal with.
The location is ideal- as per the other reviews, there's a small tesco two minutes from the flat and a large 24 hour one within 5 minutes walk. The Dial Arch pub is just next door - we didn't go but the outside tables were full of people eating and enjoying themselves.
This flat has great views from the balcony which in itself is great for a few evening drinks - you can see boats on the river, planes coming and going from nearby City airport (handily no noise pollution though!)
Although the DLR and overland station are really close by, we decided to take the Thames clipper into Central London. This was a really pleasant way to travel although the boats only go from Woolwich at peak times on weekdays (all day at weekends) so check the timetable.
Woolwich has a few great places to eat if you don't fancy self catering - we got take away from Viet Baguette and Star of Spice. Star of Spice delivered to the flat which was handy. We meant to try the Eritrean/Italian place called Blue Nile but didn't have time. It gets amazing reviews.
If you want a place to chill out after the hustle and bustle of a day out in central London or have children and need a place to stay with space to play, then I really recommend this place. It's also really close to the 02 and related attractions.
Loved this Woolwich property
Really couldn't find fault with this property (a bit warm with the sun coming into the living room and bedrooms, but that's a minor quibble). Overall, fantastic place to stay and certainly our preferred choice for future trips to London.

Activity and Interests
Warehouse Court is an elegant, recently built block of modern apartments located on Number 1 Street. The traffic-free grand promenade (on which it is situated) offers our guests a beautiful walkway, which links the Town Centre to the River Thames and its riverside promenades.
Located within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Royal Arsenal Development offers easy access to Woolwich DLR and National Rail Stations. Both can connect guests to various parts of Central London within 30 minutes.
Additional modes of transport include the reliable Bus and the ever popular Thames Clipper Riverboat Services, all of which offer easy and direct access to London and it's surrounding areas.
London City Airport is located within a couple of miles / 2 stops on the DLR, and offers guests accessibility to over 30 European destinations and is serviced by 12 airlines.
The Royal Arsenal Development itself is home to many local and historical delights. These include listed buildings, museums, an on-site Tesco Express Supermarket (open 7 days a week: 7am - 11pm), cafes and pubs - all of which offer guests a veritable treasure trove of enchantment that will ensure a visit is unforgettable. Additionally, the development is within easy access of Woolwich Town Centre, which again boasts an extremely diverse range of wares and interests including an historic open market.
