Schooner Bay 203 is an elegant three bedroom apartment located on the first floor of the beachfront Schooner Bay complex, steps from the Caribbean Sea. The apartment features a number of works of art from around the Caribbean.

It is fitted and furnished to a very high standard and enjoys stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. It can be rented as 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, accommodating groups from 2 to 6.The housekeeper at Schooner 203 will clean, wash and iron (for 2 and 3 bed rates during the high season a cook prepares 2 meals a day if required) . The development is an exclusive beach front apartment complex located on the beautiful sandy beach of Godings Bay, on the West Coast of Barbados. Facilities on site include a free-form communal pool and an air-conditioned gym. Included in the rental is the exclusive use of 2 Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs) (the sea outside Schooner Bay is ideal for SUP's), luxury lilos (airbeds) for use in the pool or sea, snorkels and masks and other items such as 'noodles'. Watersports such as sailing, skiing and other sports such as tennis and golf are available nearby.

Located within walking distance of Speightstown, Mullins Bay and a short drive from Holetown

Golf is available at either Royal Westmoreland, Apes Hill, or Sandy Lane Golf Clubs. Our concierge would be happy to assist in making arrangements for any activities. Dive shops are available in Speigtstown, minutes walk away. 

The quaint and historic town of Speightstown is located within a few minutes walk of Schooner Bay. Step back in time and enjoy views of untouched Barbados, walk along the pier or down onto the deserted beach. There you can also find good local bars and cafes, also some well-known restaurants including Mangoes By Sea and the restaurant at Cobbler's Cove hotel. The FishPot restaurant is a 5 minute drive away as well as the beachfront cafe at Port St Charles marina. Mullins beach bar is also a few minutes drive away or for the more adventurous, a 20 minute walk along the beach (at low tide!).

The Perfect Bajan Oasis

203 Schooner is the absolute perfect vacation! I stayed there once in 2012 and again in 2014, when I was married on the beach at Schooner Bay. The wedding party stayed in 203, with other guests in different units on the property. 203 is impeccable - spacious, well furnished bedrooms, a completely stocked kitchen, and great areas in the living room and lanai for entertaining or just relaxing. Every bedroom feels like a Master, nobody gets jipped at 203! It also come with paddle boards which are super fun.

The beach and pool areas at Schooner Bay are also amazing. You never have to fight for a chair or a spot in the shade, there is plenty of sun, shade, and chairs for everyone! The water is always warm, and the paddle boards provided at 203 are so fun for any guest! The pool area is kept very clean and nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Perhaps the best part of 203 is Ms. Valerie, the housekeeper. She is so pleasant, working around your schedule to clean, and can provide great information about where to go to get local fish and how to cook it perfectly! She is the sweetest woman, we always look forward to seeing her when we stay at 203.

Equally amazing is Beth, the owner of 203. She is a pleasure to work with in booking your stay and helpful with any issues that may arise leading up to your vacation or while you are there. Being practically a native Bajan herself, she can provide excellent tips on where to go and what to do.

I would absolutely recommend 203 Schooner for your next vacation - you won't regret it. But you may have to compete with my husband and I for a rental, as we will be returning for years to come :)

Paradise!

This was the perfect property for our family of 5. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We loved eating our meals and just relaxing out on the beautiful patio. We spent most of our time at the beach and all enjoyed the stand up paddle boards that came with the condo. Valerie took very good care of us and Kareen's meals were wonderful. She even taught our daughters how to cook traditional Bajan food! We loved the location of the property because we could walk to the store, fish market, bakery and farmer's market. This was a great family vacation and we can't wait to return!

Fab stay at 203

I'm writing to let you know what a fabulous time we had at 203 Schooner Bay this Christmas. We normally stay at Relais & Chateaux hotel just along the beach from Schooner Bay and this year we thought we'd change it up a bit. It was fab! Thanks Beth for all of your help and thanks to Valerie too for looking after us and bringing a splash of local charm to our holiday. 203 is a fantastic hold-out for Christmas, great view of the pool, beach and ocean and the terrace is special. Thanks again.

Perfect location, wonderful property

The property couldn't have been more perfect. Just steps to the sea and pool and a short walk into town for fresh fish and vegetables and a sunset cocktail at the nearby Relais and Chateau hotel. Having daily maid service was an added bonus. We had all the space that one could want with none of the responsibility of cleaning up. Breakfast on the lanai was wonderful with birds and geckos a heartbeat away amongst the backdrop of beautifully manicured grounds. We will definitely go back. Thank you, Beth, for a perfect vacation!

The Perfect Haven

Just about to book what will be our third visit to 203 Schooner Bay. Cannot think of a more idyllic place to be, it really is a stunning home from home. The apartment is beautifully furnished and appointed and housekeeper Valerie looks after home and guests lovingly. The pool and garden area are both maintained to a very high standard, there's always a member of staff around to help with any queries - especially Wayne who is a font of information on all things local! There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool area and the beach which is immediately through the gate where we spend most of our time, with occasional dips in the sparkling blue sea. We tend to wander down the beach a little to the left of the property to swim as there are a few rocks around in the water on 'our' beach! There are several coffee shops and restaurants dotted through Speightstown which is a good example of a typical working Bajan town, local fruit and vegetables are available from the vendors who are always happy to explain what things are and how to prepare them! All in all we would highly recommend 203 for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Barbados, can't wait to be back there.

Luxury and comfort on a virtually private beach

I return to 203 regularly and it never fails to provide the same joy each time I step over the threshold.Valerie keeps the apartment in excellent order and the towels and bed linens are always fresh and crisp.I particularly enjoy sleeping in the nostalgic 2nd bedroom with the doors wide open to the breeze and the perfect view.I love the peace and tranquility but I also look forward to a walk along the beach into the bustle of Speightstown or in the opposite direction to spend an evening of fine dining and soft music at Cobblers Cove.See you again at Christmas time
