Set in its own peaceful wooded grounds with panoramic views towards the ancient hilltop village of Seillans, this spacious traditional style 3 bedroom villa with private 10m x 5m figure eight pool is ideally situated for exploring the unspoilt Var region. Located only 45 minutes drive from Nice airport, 30 minutes from Cannes, the villa combines country seclusion with well appointed facilities.

Nearby places of interest: Shops, restaurants and a small supermarket can be found in the village only 1km away. A larger selection of shops and services, and a thrice-weekly market, are available at nearby Fayence (4km). Local leisure pursuits include golf, walking, horse riding, tennis and gliding. Freshwater sports such as windsurfing, pedalo hire and fishing are available at the nearby Lac St Cassien (12km), while the sandy beaches of the Cote d'Azur are only about half an hour's drive away.

Fantastic Villa very well equipped.

We visited this area for the second time this year and it is now a firm favourite. So close to all the amenities without the worry of the traffic.

Great restaurants nearby and the Lake is a must for the youngsters - great water sports without the sand!

Very well equipped villa so entertaining both inside or outside in the summer kitchen is very easy and relaxing.

peace and privacy

A fantastic villa in a lovely private location but close to all amenities you would need. Well laid out villa with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Outside was perfect with lots of room to spread out around the good sized pool with nice shaded areas for when it gets a bit warm (sometimes a rush for the hammock) and gorgeous views of the village of Seillans. The enclosed secure gardens were perfect for our labrador who could roam around without us worrying about him wandering off. The barbecue was first class for the serious chef and large enough to cook plenty in one go. The shaded dining area was comfortable and large with the benefit of a ceiling fan which was perfect for the hot weather that we experienced during our stay. Close to Nice and Cannes makes an easy day out to the med coast. Lac St Cassien was well worth a visit with plenty of water activities to entertain you only negative comment would be to avoid going on a Sunday it was packed and we couldn't find a parking space, week days were fine. All in all a really great week in a part of France we that we have not visited before but will be returning.

Clean, spacious single-storey accommodation, great for families, with good parking and a lovely pool and outdoor area surrounded by trees with views over the hillsides. The covered outside dining area is great for meals with family or friends and there are lots of loungers and chairs to enjoy soaking up the sun by the pool. Generously equipped and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Quiet rural location but close to charming Seillans and Fayence hilltop villages with loads of great restaurants, shops, traditional markets and lots of events. Good for cyclists and tennis players too.

Deep in the heart of the Var region, Seillans is a beautiful Saracen hilltop village far from the madding crowds of the Cote d'Azur and only 45 minutes from Nice airport. Your holiday can be as relaxed or as active as you like. Regional attractions include:

Seillans is one of four medieval hilltop villages, others being Fayence, Callian and Montouroux. Each village has its own distinct identity from the award winning beauty of Seillans to the bustle of Fayence market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings.

Take a 10 minute walk into Seillans from the villa for a morning coffee and croissant. Pick up lunch on your way back from the local supermarket.

Experience an hours gliding from Fayence Gliding Club - or just watch the gliders silently twirl above Seillans while you laze by the villa pool. You can also have a good meal at the club.

Lac St. Cassien - stunning lake with water sports only 15 minutes drive away. Eat at one of the many restaurants around the lake with panoramic views after a refreshing swim or sail.

Local Restaurants - these are many and varied from basic French cooking in the local cafés to gourmet Michelin star fare at the nearby Casteleras near Seillans.

Gorge du Verdon only 1 hour away for a full day's family fun - spectacular area for walking, touring, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking.
