About this property

Superb Holiday House in the Scottish Highlands

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Newtonmore in the Cairngorm National Park, this recently built 4 bedroom house sleeps 8 people comfortably. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, Ceilidh has 4 bedrooms - 1 double bed and 6 single beds. There is a large L-shaped lounge/diner with TV and a separate sitting room with stereo. The house has one large bathroom and two shower rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, two fridges, dishwasher and washing machine. A 10 minute stroll in one direction leads to the centre of this traditional highland village, with various shops, cafes and pubs, whilst a 10 minute stroll in the other direction takes you to the hills around the village, with stunning scenery.

In Newtonmore itself is the Clan Macpherson museum and the Highland Folk Museum, with its nostalgic recreations of houses and a schoolroom from a bygone era. A few miles away are the Highland Wildlife Park, the Laggan Wolftrak, Loch Ness and the skiing centre at Aviemore. There are plenty of opportunities in the area for walking, skiing, climbing, sailing and sightseeing.

We are happy to accept well-behaved pets, but please note that the garden is not enclosed.

Excellent property
The property is as shown and perfect for a group of 8. Always warm and fully equipped with everything needed it, was a welcoming place to come back to after a hard day on the hills. We would recommend this property without hesitation

suited us down to the ground
just finished our annual week in scotland this year at Ceilidh. we have been doing this for twenty five years so have had lots of experiences with renting properties , this was one of the best . Well equipt kitchen and every thing worked , WiFi was easy to access. Newtonmore is quite quiet but can recommend eating at the Letterbox restaurant and the pub at the south end of town. Samantha and the locals at the other pub made us very welcome. The wild cat walk is worth a go . good transport to Aviemore or Inverness via train service we had a great week
