Cannaregio is the most Venetian populated area and it has very lively squares and lots of restaurants, groceries, supermarket and patisseries. The flat is in a quiet street. It is a ground floor 5 steps higher from street level, absolutely 'high tides free' as above 2,2 meters from sea level.
The apartment is composed by a double bedroom a single bedroom with the possibility to add an extra bed and a single sofa bed in the living area. There are 2 full bathrooms, one with shower cabin and the other with bath. The flat has an extremely furnished kitchen and a table to comfortably sit in 4 persons for a quick breakfast or dinner. Air conditioning, central heating, internet Wi-Fi and Ethernet, Satellite TV with a 32” flat screen are essential utilities that makes this flat absolutely within The Red House standards of comforts and quality.
Beautiful ground floor apartment with two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. The whole property was spotless and we'll maintained. Brüno met us at the Ca'Doro vaparetto stop and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommended!
The property was perfectly located , two minutes from the Ca D'Oro vaporetto stop, near a supermarket and well placed to discover the restaurants and wine bars of the Canereggio. We were met at the vaporetto stop and given a detailed briefing by your representative who gave us useful tips on where to go and what to see. The flat was in very good condition and provided all the facilities that we needed.
This lovely apt. was immaculate and well appointed. Very spacious. Bruno was extremely nice, and most helpful at check-in. He supplied us with a city map, noting closed days and best times to visit the many sites, and vaporetto info. Busy nearby wine bar, and The Irish Pub Venice are steps away and worth the visit. Great location, just off the main walkway. Highest recommendations. Only place we will stay in Venice from now on.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Ca'Dorina. Bruno met us at the Vaporetto stop, Ca'd'Oro, and walked us to the flat a short distance away. He was a perfect guide; telling us where the nearest supermarket was, a good coffee shop etc. The flat was down a little quiet alley and was ideally located for doing all sightseeing, going for walks, for the vaporetto, and there were restaurants nearby. It was very clean and well furnished, as described in the listing, we were very pleased with it. Bruno showed us round, how to work the appliances and then pointed out on the map what to see and how to get to various places, adding lots of useful information such as what was the best time to visit St Marks. We asked about concerts in churches and he told us of the church San Vidal at the Academia Bridge where we went to hear Vivaldi's Four Seasons one evening which was excellent.
There was a bar/restaurant round the corner in Calle dell'Oca - ai promessi sposi where we had two good meals. We also loved snacking in tapas bars, standing drinking a spritz Aperolo or Proscecco and sampling the appetizers. Similarly for a coffee and cake in a patisserie shop. Apart from doing the 'must see sights' I particularly enjoyed walking round the quieter streets, north of the flat, and going into the beautiful churches along the way.
We would definitely recommend the property - and Bruno - to friends and family. The Red House Company was extremely efficient and we would use them again.
The flaws in this ideally located apartment are too few and too minor to detract from its 5-star rating. We shared it with another couple--friends from Luxembourg--and they agree that the apartment was first rate, so I speak for them as well. Never mind that there were no facilities to dry laundry (though a top-notch washing machine is provided) or that the smaller bathroom had issues (since we didn't use it, I forget what those were). The place was generously equipped and the amenities were ample and well-functioning. Our one regret was that we didn't take the manager's recommendations for restaurants.
While we cooked most of our meals "at home," those we had out left us thinking that Venice is more a feast for the eyes than the mouth.
We loved this apartment. The location is excellent. It allows you to live amongst Venetians and feel closer to the local culture but is strategically located to allow easy access to the vaporetto. We had a great time in Venice. The apartment had everything we needed and Marco provided instructions on how to locate the market so that we could pick up basic items for our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again. The photographs and descriptions are very accurate and Marco is excellent to deal with. Grazie Mille!!
