Weekend break

Visiting son who has moved to the area. Needed somewhere dog friendly with parking. Lovely accommodation which had everything we needed. Thank you

Microwave worry

The property is a converted garage, and the original garage double doors remain at the front where the car parks. I was very upset and worried about the microwave which continued to run after I opened the door. I put my hand in to remove the bowl then realised it was dangerous and shut the door and it continued to cook my OatSoSimple oats until I turned it off at the wall socket. I spoke to the owner, who came and switched it on and off and demonstrated that when it was cooking things the door was locked shut and could not be opened. That is all very well, but that was not happened to me. The owner assured me it was only the fan and demonstrated switching it on and this time the door locked and would not open. Nevertheless I would like to know how frequently the microwave has an electric safety test. It ruined my day of a much anticipated trip as I was worried sick in case it had caused my hand some damage.
