Shady Hollow is a beautifully-decorated 1 bd/1ba cabin in a remote area of Ellijay. The large bedroom offers a comfy queen-size bed with french doors leading onto the screened porch which is just steps away from the fabulous hot tub. The secluded location offers peace and quite with plenty of wildlife and distant mountain views. It's also just a few miles from the Whitepath Golf Course and one of the many local wineries. You can take advantage of the great shopping and wonderful restaurants in both downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Or if you'd prefer to stay indoors and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin, the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make that perfect meal or grill outdoors.

A quick getaway

This was a great place to spend my 65th birthday. I love the little cabin, it was supper clean. I love the fact that the French doors opened from the living room and the bedroom. It was nice to be able to enjoy my coffee sitting out on the porch during the early morning hours.

Wonderful Retreat

This place was quiet peaceful and welcoming. Loved seeing deer, raccoon and fox and waking up to the sounds of the birds. Excellent little retreat from the stress of life!

Perfect Mountain Weekend

Sandy’s cabin was absolutely perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway! The home is just as cute as pictured, but with even more character and charm in person. Sandy was a fantastic host. We had no problem getting to the cabin. Check in/out was seamless. It’s evident Sandy and Doug have put a lot of love and care into this cabin. There were so many thoughtful details that made our stay so easy, carefree, and great. We hope to visit again soon!

Kept Cozy in the cold

We took a three day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Its was perfect! The fire place and hot tub kept us warm in the low temps. The location was perfect. Will def come back!

We fell in love with this part of North Georgia mountains after vacationing here numerous times over our 20+ years of marriage. We bought our first small cabin for a weekend getaway for ourselves in the summer of 2016 and have since moved to Ellijay full-time. We wanted to share our love of the area by buying and renting cabins that we know our guests will enjoy as much as we did during our many vacations here. Shady Hollow was the first of our cabin rentals. We couldn't resist the charm of this little romantic getaway and purchased it in January 2017.

Why they chose this property

Shady Hollow is nestled in a grove of tall trees offering privacy within a quaint log cabin community. It is the perfect size for a romantic getaway for couple. It is conveniently located to the main highway where you'll easily find the towns of Ellijay to the south and Blue Ridge to the north.

What makes this property unique

We love this beautifully decorated cabin with its unique folk art. The bedroom is much larger than your typical cabin which feels much bigger than other 1 bed/1 bath cabins in the area.
