About this property

Beautifull modern House with 2 bedroom with modern finishes. Sea View,and beautiful sunsets. Green surrounding and panoramic view over Estreito da Calheta. Very good sun exposure.Casa da Pinheira sits on the hillside overlooking the pretty village of Estreito da Calheta in SW Madeira. This bit of coast, known as the boasts some of the most beautiful views in Madeira and as such is fast becoming the place to live and holiday for the discerning. The house is detached and set in well tended gardens with sun terraces for outdoor eating and sunbathing. It also has a BBQ area . Inside the house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high, contemporary standard. The master bedroom has a king size bed and large bathroom. The other bedroom have twin beds. Both bathrooms have showers. The large open-plan living area has two sofas, TV with cable, DVD, video and CD players, and a large dining table. For the winter months there is and oil filled radiators for the bedrooms. The kitchen has ample cupboard space with granite worktops, an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine. There is WiFi available. The house is ideally situated for the sandy beach and levada walking.

Lovely accommodation

The whole property was of generous proportions, clean and well equipped and excellent value. The two shower rooms were large with big walk-in showers. All the bedrooms were really large good doubles. The lounge dinner was huge...lots of room for 6 adults. The property was easy to find with good access onto the main road. Calheta area is much quieter than Funchal and gives good access to the West, Centre and North of the Island. We would stay there again

The Ramblers on tour

We loved your villa, it's well situated, lovely views and very clean and tidy. The ladies in the party commented that it would be good if you put mirrors and waste bins in each bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Madeira, we walked 3 Levadas and fitted in some sightseeing. We found Alby in the Navalnica snack bar very helpful - a lovely man. The supermarket opposite was very good for supplies.

The villa is very clean & spacious with great views. You defo need a car, not only to explore the beautiful island but to get to restaurants etc. Couldn't fault the villa

Our perfect place

Booking and communication with Jorge prior to arrival very good. He was very patient when we arrived late due to getting slightly lost in the village. The villa was clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the barbecue and were able to enjoy most meals outdoors due to the lovely weather. The front of the villa gets full sun most of the day but shaded areas are there if you need them. Delightful views from living areas and bedrooms. Small supermarket and café bar within walking distance selling everything you need and at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed several walks from the villa up to the levada at Prazeres and down to the beaches, but a certain level of fitness is needed for some of them. We would most definitely stay at this beautiful villa again. Thank you for a great holiday.
