Semi detached cottage in the village of Dolwyddelan in the beautiful LLedr valley, which is set amongst the forests, mountains, rivers and lakes of the Snowdonia national park and ideally located for walking, climbing, mountain biking and sightseeing. Explore the many castles (including Dolwyddelan), slate caverns, steam railways, historic houses and gardens in the area. Beautiful sandy beaches are a short drive away at Harlech and Black rock sands. Golf courses at Harlech, Porthmadog, Conwy, LLandudno and Betws-y-Coed. Restraurants and tourist shops at nearby Betws-y-Coed (4 miles). Arvon Cottage is recently renovated with double glazing, exposed beams, LPG central heating, open tread staircase and well equipped kitchen.

Christmas / New Year 2011 bookings taken from 21/12/2011 - 27/12/2011 & 28/12/2011 - 03/01/2012 £350 per week.

Saturday changeover, cottage to be vacated by 10am on day of departure, cottage available from 3pm on day of arrival.

There is a safety gate for children at top and bottom of stairs. We also have a cot and high chair. 1 well behaved dog allowed.

Arriva and Express motors bus services and British Rail station serve the village. Approx 1.5 hours from Chester, 2 hours from Shrewsbury by car. Nearest airports are Liverpool and Manchester, both approx 85miles. Holyhead port is 1.5 hours away with connections to Ireland.

Further details
The village has a Spar shop which is open 9am -9pm. The village pub is called the Gwydyr and there is also a small family run hotel, the bar and restaraunt is open to non residents, all are very close to the cottage.
