Our cuisine is second to none locally, featuring local lamb and game, served with wines dating back to 1975. Our hospitality is enjoyed by all as is evident from our guest book. We have the following rooms; Four double rooms One single room One twin room One triple room All rooms are en-suite, with new power showers, except Gower which has a cast iron roll top bath with a hand held shower attachment. All rooms have original stripped pine 19th century doors and have been tastefully refurbished with lovely art prints, new carpets, cast iron beds, good mattresses, and carefully chosen decorations that makes every room individual. All rooms have a kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. All rooms have TV.

Notes on accommodation
Unfortunately due to recent legislation, we cannot permit smoking in any public areas, but we do allow smoking in the garden, and ashtrays are available upon request. Sorry, no pets. We have our own, and even he is not allowed in public areas in deference to allergy sufferers. No children under 12. Secure storage for bicycles.drying room for wet clothes. All rooms are centrally heated and double-glazed.
Accessibility
We have a downstairs room with a queen sized double bed. It is accessed with only one small step down (3 inches) and the door step. Whilst this is a suitable room for the infirm unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchair users as the door to both the room and the bathroom is too narrow.
Outside
From our carefully tended gardens with lovely Azalias and Rhododendrons one can enjoy the panoramic views, from many viewpoints. Many enjoy our lovely wooden swing, down on the lawn which is the last place the sun lingers, or our elevated wooden deck with its views of the lake, or indeed the terrace, with the wide ranging views that bring guests back time and again.
Coast/Beach
We are 45 minutes drive from the beach at Barmouth...Other beaches of note, Shell island, Harlech, Borth y gest, are within an hours drive. Lovely seafood restaurants at Aberdovey and Portmeiron. Tythn llan, voted WTB best restaurant in Wales is 20 minutes drive.
Golf
Challenging golf course within 2 minutes drive with superlative views: only £25 per round! Four other courses within 45 minutes scenic drive.

Prime walking and mountain bike country: We supply book guides for both,and for all local tourist attractions, of which there are many. Fantastic gardens at Bodnant (50 minutes by car), Powys castle (40 mins: we source our venison from here), and world class castles at Conwy, Harlech, Caenarfon, Beaumaris, Criccieth, Ruthin, Doddwyhllyn, Denbigh, Chirk and more. Lovely unspoilt beaches, and quiet peaceful forest walks; fascinating industrial historic sites and world famous narrow guage steam railways; Portmeiron: the world's first theme park, and the site of the filming of 'The Prisoner', the cult 1960's series. For many the reason for staying with us is our proximity to one of two special places; Mount Snowdon, Wales's highest mountain, reached either by foot (on one of many historic paths), or by the historic railway from Llanberis, 40 minutes scenic drive; The national white water rafting centre is 8 minutes drive,and has lovely walks.Wales highest waterfall is 30 minutes drive.
