The Porpoise is the larger of our two modern cottages, overlooking Cardigan Bay. Recently refurbished the cottage has full central heating. It has a large lounge with dining area together, a fully equipped kitchen complete with all modern appliances. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, with a shower room. On the first floor is a further bedroom with a bathroom and separate wc and basin.

Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day, guests must depart by 10.00am, ensuring enought time to clean and prepare for arrivals after 3.00pm. Guests are requested to telephone two days before arrival to discuss arrival arrangements.

Downstairs bedroom 1 has a double bed with a full sized single.
Downstairs bedroom 2 has two full size single beds.
Upstairs bedroom 3 has a double bed with a full sized single.
The ground floor has been recently refurbished with a light and modern feel, consisting of a wc, basin and a good quality spacious shower.
The 1st floor has a wc and hand-basin, with a separate bathroom containing bath, basin & heated towel rail.
Fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances: Oven & hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, crockery & cutlery, cooking utensils, washing machine/tumble dryer, iron & ironing board.
large lounge dining room with spectacular views over Cardigan bay. The lounge has large comfortable sofas, colour TV with free view box, DVD player and a CD player. The dining room table seats 8 people.
All linen (duvets, with covers, pillows & pillow cases, bath & hand towels, kitchen tea towels & towels) are supplied. Porpoise is cleaned in preparation for arrival.

The Seal apartment is adjacent to the Porpoise and can accommodate two people, plus a sofa bed. It is a modern cottage that has recently been refurbished. It has a spacious living area with dining room, with views over the golf course and Cardigan Bay. It has comfortable seating for four guests, a colour television, DVD player, CD player, and also has a pay phone. The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.
Upstairs there is twin / double bedroom overlooking the Bay. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath. W.C. and basin. A folding bedis available if requested. The separate enclosed lawned garden has a B.B.Q area.
Linen is provided and includes, sheets, duvet & duvet covers, pillows & pillowcases, bath, hand towels, kitchen and tea towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
We request that guests refrain from smoking within the accommodation.

Outside
The exterior has an enclosed lawned garden at the back of the property overlooking the golf couse, with garden table and chairs & a BBQ. The frount of the property has a raised patio area with a bench seat overlooking the Bay.
Parking for several cars.

Coast/Beach
Beach is within a sixth of a mile, which is Gwbert (steps down to it). A further beach is about 1 mile away where parking is close by. Mwnt, Aberporth, Newport, Tresaith, Penbryn and many others varying between 5 miles & 15 miles away.

Golf
The Cliff Hotels 9 hole golf course is adjacent to the property, and Cardigan's 18 hole golf course is a quarter of a mile away.

Skiing
Dry ski slope is available in Llangranog a distance of 10 miles.

Distances
The small town of Cardigan is 2 miles away inland. Local theatre / cinema, pubs, heritage sites, supermarkets, banks and various small shops to cater for most needs.

£100 deposit secures booking. Balance & £100 refundable (subject to no damage) key deposit 6 weeks prior to arrival.
