Ty Twt Lodge is perfect for families wanting a central hub to explore West Wales, quiet romantic getaways or for ramblers/walkers to explore the extensive West Wales coastal walkways and National Parks. On the ground floor is a fitted kitchen, bathroom with over bath shower, lounge with 28" widescreen TV, a single room plus a twin room with a small selection of indoor and outdoor toys and games. The first floor has an innovative mezzanine double bedroom that overlooks the lounge; this bedroom benefits from a velux skylight that allows for romantic nights under the stars whilst wrapped up under a warm duvet! A brochure detailing local places of interest with full directions/maps is supplied for all guests and can be e-mailed in advance of your booking to help you plan and get the most from your stay.

Notes on prices
Short stays available on most weeks - minimum stay is 3 nights. Prices are as follows: upto £300 per week = £150 for 3 nights (minimum stay) plus £45 each additional night. £300 - £400 per week = £180 for 3 nights (minimum stay) plus £55 each additional night.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible except during the peak holiday periods when we try to keep to a Saturday change-over.
The Lodge is available from 4pm on the day of occupancy and must be vacated by 10am the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
Sorry but no pets are allowed in the Lodge! Heating/hot water in the Lodge is provided through an electric fire in the Lounge and electric radiators/fan heaters in rooms (charged through a £1 coin meter in the utility area). High chair available on request (free of charge). The on-site pub, The Wanderer's Rest Pub, is open every evening from 7pm and is about 30 yards from the lodge. Excellent bar-meals and children's menu. A free car parking space comes with the lodge. Additional car parking spaces are available (extra charge, payable locally).

Accessibility
Two of the three bedrooms - and the bathroom - are on the ground floor so it is ideal for people with mobility problems. However, the Lodge has a small stepped entrance so it is not fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Private patio area with picnic bench. Separate bench under awning.
Outside lighting with sensor detectors. The Llanteglos Estate has extensive gardens / walking routes which are available to guests plus a children's Play Area.

Coast/Beach
Amroth coast / beach - approx 3 miles. Tenby coast / beach - approx 7 miles. Saundersfoot - approx 7 miles. Broadhaven - approx 20 miles. Within close proximity of the West Wales Coastal Paths and National Park walking / rambling routes.

Rural location, car recommended. Approx 3.5 hours drive from London, 2.5 hours drive from Bristol Airport and 1.5 hours drive from Cardiff International Airport (Rhoose).

A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking as well as a £100 breakages deposit. Full payment is required 8 weeks before your arrival. Cancellation charges will apply to bookings cancelled less than 8 weeks before arrival. Details will be included in your booking contract.

About the owner
We live in West Wales about 15 miles from the Lodge. This means we are 'on the doorstep' for any advice you may need but, more importantly, to solve any problems that may arise during your stay - although we hope there won't be any! If you have any questions about the Lodge, the surrounding area or any local facilities, please ask.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We use the Lodge ourselves as a weekend getaway. We like walking in the woods around Llanteglos and it is a also a "twitcher's" paradise for any keen bird-spotters. After a hard day's unwinding (ahem), a pint or two at the Wanderer's Rest helps you relax even further. There is a lovely informal atmosphere here, the bar staff are very friendly and the pub does excellent bar meals, including a children's menu. Needless to say the kitchen doesn't get used very much in the Lodge!

Unique benefits of the property
You take your break at the lodge at the pace you want; if you want to potter in the grounds of Llanteglos, read a book and enjoy the quiet you can. But you know that within 15 minutes you can be in the thick of it in Tenby with its many bars, restaurants and attractions. The choice is yours. In the lodge you'll find a small lending library that covers most tastes (how infuriating is it when you have left your favourite book at home!) and a wide screen TV / freeview to keep the children happy. Take a break, slip off your shoes and enjoy yourself - we do!
